Inter-company Season 1 Basketball League House Rules
(TAGOLOAN-VILLANUEVA COMPANIES EXCLUSIVE)
• All players must be actively working on the company. (no active commercial players)
o 3 months residency
o With company ID
o Certificate of employment signed by the HR Head
• Take note: caught of hiring commercial players will be disqualified of the league
• 15 players per team
• The game is composed 7 minutes per quarter.
• The team foul penalty shall apply after 5 fouls in each period.
• FIBA rules to be applied for time outs application.
• All players should play at least 3 games in elimination to play in the 2nd round of eliminations.
• The game shall be played to FIBA Regulations.
• Any clarification of the above rules should be addressed to the Whistle Committee Chairman initially.
• All participants are required to wear appropriate sports attire, including athletic shoes and shorts. Shirts must be worn at all time
• All players are expected to follow the rules and regulations of the league. Referees have the final say on any calls or arguments.
• Below 5 players will be forfeited.
Elimination Round:
• Elimination round is on a single round robin format.
Semi-Finals:
• Top four teams shall proceed to the second round of the tournament.
• Crossover format shall be applied. Number 1 Team vs. Number 4 Team, Number 2 Team vs. Number 3 Team.
• With number 1 and number 2 teams shall have a twice to beat advantage.
Championship:
• Losing teams will play on the fight for the 2nd runners up.
• Winning team shall play for the championship.
**Championship game will be a best of 3 games**.
• Protest on certain players is up to quarter finals only.
• Teams should be 30 minutes in advance before the game and 10 minutes to warm up with an additional 5 minutes if the other team cannot reach 5 players before being forfeited.
• Downpayment of registration would be 50%, and then after 2 games should be fully-paid.
• REGISTRATION FEE is P2500 and additional *P550.00 PER TEAM and PER GAME.
