May laway, balahibo, ihi, dumi — baka may bacteria o ticks pa.
Eh 'yung baby? Wala ngang kamalay-malay.

Kalinisan. Pag-iingat.

Not just a simple chat convo, conveys na sa pamilya talasan din. Be sensitive enough na bawat isa may needs, simpleng gesture makes others happy.

They laughed at my English. They laughed at my stunts. But I kept smiling. And one day… I laughed last.

I wasn’t born a hero. I was just a poor kid in Hong Kong who failed school. My parents didn’t know what to do with me, so they sent me away to a strict opera school. We trained for 10 hours a day—every day. No breaks. No hugs. No “good job.” Just bruises, shouting, and sleeping on hard wooden boards.

We learned everything—martial arts, acting, acrobatics, even singing. And if you messed up? You got hit.

I cried a lot back then. Not just from pain, but because I didn’t think I was good enough. But somewhere deep inside, I kept going. I didn’t know why at the time. I just knew quitting wasn’t an option.

Years later, I became a stuntman. I was the guy falling off buildings, getting hit by cars, crashing through windows—over and over, take after take. I broke almost every bone in my body. Doctors warned me to stop. I didn’t.

Because I had a dream: not to be the next Bruce Lee—but to be the first Jackie Chan.

I made my own kind of films. I mixed action with comedy. I made people laugh and hold their breath. And slowly, people in Asia started noticing. But when I came to Hollywood?

They laughed again.

“Your English is too broken.”
“Your style is too silly.”
“No one will watch you here.”

I was heartbroken. I thought maybe they were right. But I couldn’t stop. I had come too far. So I kept pushing. And pushing.

Then one day, Rush Hour changed everything.

Suddenly, I wasn’t “the Asian stunt guy.” I was Jackie Chan. And all those people who laughed? They clapped.

But I never forgot those years of silence. The bruises. The loneliness. The rejections.

So if you’re reading this right now, and you feel like nobody believes in you…
If you’re falling and failing, over and over…

Listen to me:
You are not alone. And your story isn’t over.

Let them laugh. Let them doubt.
But never let them stop you.

Because one day, they’ll stop laughing.
And they’ll start clapping.

Keep going.

— Jackie Chan

When you die, don't worry about your body...
Your relatives and funeral staff will do it. I know this first hand. I’ve done it myself…

They will take you out of the house and deliver you to the funeral home of your family’s choice.
They will take off your clothes
They will wash you
They will dress you up
They will even apply makeup to make you look presentable
Many will come to the funeral to honor you.
Some will even cancel their plans and ask for leave to go to the funeral.

Your things--things you hate to be borrowed will be sold, donated or burned.
Your keys
Your tools
Your books
Your CDs, DVDs, games
Your collections
Your clothes...

The world won't stop and cry for you.
The economy will continue.
You will be replaced at work. Someone with the same or even better ability will take your place.

Your property will switch to heirs.
And don't doubt the small and big things you have done in your life will be spoken of, judged, doubted and criticized.

People who only knew your face will say, ′′Poor thing!"

Your good friends will cry for a few hours or several days, but then they will laugh again.

Your pets will get used to the new owner.

Your pictures will be hanging on the wall for a while, then they will be put on furniture and finally stored at the bottom of the box.

Someone else will sit on your couch and eat from it.

Deep pain in your home will last a year, two, maybe ten... Then you will join the memories and then your story will end.

It will end among people, end here, end in this world.

But your story begins in a new reality... in your life after death.

The things you once have will lose their meaning. You cannot bring your earthly possessions here.

the beauty of your body
last name
property
loans
working position
bank account
the house
the car
academic titles
Classmates
trophies
Friends of the world
man / woman
the kids
the family...

In your new life, you will only need your soul.
The only property that will last is the soul.........................................................

The big question is: Do you know where your soul is going after this life is over?

Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6)

The Bible is clear that no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again (John 3:3).

John 3:18 explains in the simplest terms who will go to heaven and who will go to hell: “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." So, those who go to hell are specifically those who do not believe in Jesus’ name.

Simply, if you receive Jesus Christ as your Savior, by grace alone, through faith alone, you will spend eternity in heaven. If you do not receive Jesus Christ as your Savior, you will be eternally separated from God (Matthew 25:46).

The Bible says, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).

We can choose to trust in Jesus’ payment for our sin, or we can choose to pay for our sins ourselves—but we must remember that the payment for our sin is eternity in hell.

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23).

"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved" (Acts 16:31)

Simple Lesson:
| Life's Reality, pick up and live out what lasts forever. |

The Air India plane crash.

To some, just another breaking news story.
To me, it was a soul-stirring reminder of how fragile and unpredictable life really is.

Four lives. Four stories. Four powerful lessons that changed how I see time, purpose, and the grace of each moment.

First: A family who had waited years to fulfill their dream of migrating to the UK.
Life kept getting in the way, responsibilities, delays, decisions. They finally made it onto the plane… but never reached their destination

And I realized:
We carry so many plans for “someday.” But if we keep waiting, someday becomes never.

Second: A woman who was supposed to be on that flight. She arrived late. Missed the check-in. Pleaded to get on board but was denied. She was frustrated, angry, defeated. Only to later realize: that delay was divine protection.

We don’t always get what we want, because God sees what we cannot. Sometimes, His “NO” is what keeps us alive.

Third: A man who survived.
The plane split in half and he happened to be in the section that didn’t catch fire.
He walked away, dazed and alive, from something no one thought survivable.

It wasn’t luck. It was purpose. And I was reminded of the verse: “There is a time for everything, and a sea*on for every activity under the heavens.” – Ecclesiastes 3:1

It simply wasn’t his time.

Fourth: And then those who didn’t make it. People with dreams. People with families. People with unfinished stories.
They kissed someone goodbye that morning… not knowing it was the last time.

Their lives remind us that time is not guaranteed. We’re not promised old age. We’re not promised later. What we have is now. A breath. A heartbeat. A chance.

So while you still have today..

While you’re still breathing, still strong, still able, don’t waste it. Don’t wait for the “perfect” moment.

Love now. Apologize now. Forgive now. Dream now. Speak now.

Because life doesn’t always come with warnings. And sometimes… “next time” never comes.

🙏
