confirms serious injury after Rampage finals crash. fundraiser launched.
Nearly one week after his Rampage finals crash after attempting a double backflip drop, the latest update on Silva’s condition is that he has a serious spinal injury. The report on Silva’s injuries said he has no sensation from the chest down, but it stated that it’s “simply too early for anyone to know what the future holds; only time, healing, and his body’s own signals will tell.”
To provide support for Silva and his family, Road2Recovery, a nonprofit organisation that assists injured professional athletes through catastrophic injuries, has launched a fundraising campaign. All donations will help fund Silva’s “ongoing medical care, rehabilitation, and transport to Barcelona, as well as adaptive home and vehicle modifications and specialized mobility equipment essential for his long-term independence and quality of life.”
A statement from Road2Recovery “Adolf faces an intense and expensive road: daily therapy, adaptive equipment, home adjustments, and ongoing medical support. All funds raised will go toward Adolf’s ongoing medical care, rehabilitation, and transport to Barcelona, as well as adaptive home and vehicle modifications and specialized mobility equipment essential for his long-term independence and quality of life. Your help makes a direct difference in his recovery and stability — giving him every chance to rebuild his life.
Those who know Adolf know his smile, his energy, and his kindness off the bike. Let’s give some of that energy back.

The fundraiser for Silva’s recovery will hopefully ensure he can get everything he needs for his long-term health and can support any help he will receive from Red Bull and his sponsors.
