HERE'S MY THOUGHT BASED ON PERSONAL EXPERIENCE.
A holographic stickers or tape can be effective in deterring birds. The reflective and iridescent surface of the holographic material, combined with its movement in the wind, creates a visual and sometimes auditory deterrent that birds find unsettling. This makes them less likely to land or nest in the area where the holographic material is placed this is also applicable to drones.
Can be effective means that it may or.may not work to all birds eapecially hawks,eagle.and larger birds. To address this, fly your drone higher than the birds altitude this way the bird cannot snoop/ nosedive your drone reducing potential risk of getting crashed. When the bird still continues to pursue yourdrone it will circle around and will try to reach higher altitute to prepare his attack when this happen carefully maneuver your drone to lower altitude , do it vice veraa till you get your drone for safe landing.
