It’s not hard, it’s just new.

1. Moving to a new country feels overwhelming because you’re new there. It’s normal not to know everything yet.

2. Starting a new job feels scary because you’re new and still learning how the system works.

3. Speaking a new language feels awkward and intimidating because it’s new to you. You’re not dumb, you’re just learning.

4. Trying something unfamiliar feels hard at first because you haven’t done it before.

5. Sometimes things feel difficult not because you can’t do them, but because they’re new to you.

Give yourself time. The unfamiliar feels scary, so our brain tells us it’s hard. But most of the time, nothing is actually impossible. We’re just doing it for the first time.🤗
