It's okay momma. 😊❤
I’m the last.
I’m the last to have breakfast,
To get myself dressed,
To brush my teeth.
And I’m the last to get out the door,
To buy something for myself,
To sit down for a moment.
And I’m the last to have a shower,
To turn off the lights,
To fall asleep every night.
But I’m also the first.
The first they run to when they’re excited,
The first they cry for when they’re upset,
The first they come to for everything.
So I may come last because they come first,
But I also come first because I am their first,
And it’s just nice to remember that some days.
This is mothering. You are seen, known, cherished, treasured, needed, appreciated, and so dearly loved. Keep being last because you know you are their first.🥰
