Dear Lord,

I know that you can hear me, I know you know my pain.

I know that you have a plan for my life. A perfect plan.

And I also know that sometimes it doesn't seem like it's working out the way it should be.

I ask for a special favor today: please help me to be patient with myself and others around me. Please help me to take care of myself so that I don't get overwhelmed by all the things on my plate—even if they're important! Please help me to not let the little things get me down because then I won't be able to see what is really important in life. Please help me to remember that this is only temporary; that everything will work out in the end. In Jesus' name. Amen!

I sincerely thank you, Lord, for all of your blessings.
I am deeply depressed and I am aware that I have no right to ask for anything.
Please remove all of these bad things and replace them with good things.

I ask for your assistance in teaching me how to have a more upbeat and happy outlook on life so I can live a happier life for everyone.
