[WEATHER UPDATE]

Tropical Depression maintains its strength as it moves southwestward over the east of Mindanao. Signal No. 1 is raised over Surigao del Sur and parts of Surigao del Norte as of 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 4.

Mayor Roxanne Pimentel has ordered the suspension of face-to-face classes in all levels, both public and private, in Tandag City on November 25, 2025.

This suspension is to allow authorities to further assess schools for possible damages caused by Tropical Depression Verbena and to provide sufficient time to implement necessary interventions.

An Executive Order formalizing this directive will follow.

As of 2:00 PM today, the Tropical Depression "VERBENA" (11b) is being monitored inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA.
