‼️Sautéed Shrimp, Broccoli, and Mushrooms Recipe‼️
This recipe is adaptable based on your preferences and the ingredients you have available.
💥Ingredients:
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
- 8 ounces mushrooms (any variety you like, such as shiitake, button, or oyster mushrooms), sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced (optional)
- 2 tablespoons oil (vegetable, canola, or your preferred cooking oil)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional, adds umami)
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
💥Instructions:
1. Prepare Ingredients: Wash and chop all your vegetables. Peel and devein the shrimp.
2. Sauté Aromatics: Heat the oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and ginger (if using) and sauté for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.
3. Cook Shrimp: Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the pan and set aside.
4. Sauté Vegetables: Add the broccoli and mushrooms to the pan and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes, until the broccoli is tender-crisp and the mushrooms are softened.
5. Combine and Simmer: Return the shrimp to the pan. Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), and sesame oil. Stir to combine and cook for another minute or two, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
6. Season and Serve: Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately over rice or noodles, if desired.
💥Tips and Variations
- Vegetables: Feel free to add other vegetables, such as bell peppers, carrots, or snow peas.
- Spice: Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little heat.
- Sauce: Experiment with different sauces to adjust the flavor. A touch of honey or brown sugar can add sweetness.
- Garnish: Garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds before serving.
