PAF NEWS | PAF SOARS HIGH IN GENDER-RESPONSIVE BUDGETING

The Philippine Air Force (PAF) through its Office of the Air Force Gender and Development (OAFGAD) continues to soar higher as it earns national recognition from the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) for its exemplary use of the 2024 Gender and Development (GAD) Budget.

Among National Government Agencies, the PAF ranked:
• 10th – Highest Total GAD Budget Allocation
• 8th – Highest Attributed GAD Allocation
• 5th – Highest Total GAD Budget Expenditure
• 3rd – Highest Attributed GAD Expenditure

For FY 2024, the PAF allocated 20.10 percent of its total budget to GAD, well above the required 5 percent minimum. The GAD Plan and Budget was fully endorsed by the PCW for compliance and timely submission.

This milestone highlights the PAF’s dedication to advancing gender equality, women empowerment, and inclusivity across the organization. The PAF will officially receive these recognitions on 25 September 2025.
