Pinamamadali na ni Acting Transportation Secretary Giovanni Lopez ang konstruksyon ng mga relocation sites sa Naic, Cavite para sa mga pamilyang maaapektuhan ng pagta-tayo ng North-South Commuter Railway (NSCR) project. Galing sa DOTr ang pondong gagastusin para sa mga relocation sites.

Kasunod ito ng utos ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. na pabilisin ang konstruksyon ng proyekto para agad na may malipatang tirahan ang mga apektadong residente.

Kaugnay nito, tiniyak ng Department of Transportation (DOTr) na binibilisan na ang pagkumpleto ng 82 three-storey buildings sa ilalim ng Social Housing Finance Corp., kung saan 12 gusali ang inaasahang matatapos sa December 2025 na makakapagbigay ng tirahan sa 360 na pamilya.

Sa ginawang pagbisita ni DOTR Assistant Secretary for Right-of-Way and Site Acquisition IC Calaguas at kinatawan ni Naic Mayor Rommel Magbitang na si City Administrator Rodolfo Uy III sa relocation site, tiniyak ng mga opisyal na ang compound ay kumpleto sa pasilidad kabilang na ang eskwelahan, day care centers, rural health centers at covered courts.

"Nagpapasalamat po tayo sa lokal na pamahalaan, kasi po kung hindi tayo susuportahan ng lokal na pamahalaan ng Naic, hindi po magiging smooth ang ating pagre-relocate sa mga tatamaang pamilya [ng proyekto]," ayon kay Asec. Calaguas.

Samantala, nakatakda ring bumisita ang DOTr ngayong linggo, sa isa pang relocation site na para rin sa mga residenteng maaapektuhan ng NSCR project sa Angeles City, Pampanga.

Department of Transportation Assistant Secretary for Right of Way and Site Acquisition (ROWSA) Irish “IC” Calaguas had a brief discussion with First District Davao del Norte Representative De Carlo "Oyo" Lim Uy on the ROW of Mindanao Railway Project.

A total of P1.7 billion is available for ROWSA of the project (Tagum to Digos alignment).

DOTr Secretary Giovanni Lopez said earlier that ROW for the project is ongoing.

In what can be described as a rare occasion, the top honchos of the country’s two leading airlines make a pitch for the Philippines in a global aviation event.

Cebu Pacific Air CEO Michael Szucs (in yellow) and Philippine Airlines President Richard Nuttal (in blue) cited the recent economic gains and infrastructure development in the country as well as potentials for growth in the travel industry. The video interview during the Routes World 2025 in Hong Kong gave spotlight on the Philippines in one of the forums during the gathering of executives of airlines and airports and related industries from all over the globe.

In its website, Routes World said the spotlight “explores the resilience of the market, the strategies driving recovery and growth, and the future outlook for one of Asia's most dynamic air travel regions.”

Boosting efforts to bring in more airlines to Clark International Airport, LIPAD, BCDA and CIAC executives participated in Routes World 2025.
