COLOR, DANCE, AND SPIRIT MARK THE OPENING OF BUG-ANG NHS INTRAMURALS 2025
Bug-ang NHS, August 28, 2025 — Bug-ang National High School officially opened its much-awaited Intramurals 2025 with a vibrant celebration filled with music, dance, and school spirit.
The day began with a lively parade led by the Mamugnaon Band, which set the festive mood for the rest of the program. Adding excitement to the opening, the first-ever Bayle sa Kalye was held outside the Senior High School building, showcasing the creativity and energy of different grade levels through street dancing.
After an impressive display of talent, Grade 10 triumphed as champion with their captivating performance, marked by strong movements, a well-thought-out concept, and creative costumes. Following closely, Grade 11 secured 1st Runner-Up, Grade 12 took 2nd Runner-Up, and Grade 9 landed 3rd Runner-Up.
The event also highlighted the raising of banners for each grade-level team, proudly representing their identities: Green T-Rex, Golden Tiger, Red Scorpion, Blue Venom, Purple Phoenix, and Maroon Dragon.
A symbolic part of the ceremony was the lighting of the urn, signifying the official start of the intramurals. This was led by Patrick I. Amando, a Bug-ang NHS student who previously represented the school in the Division Meet in throwing events.
The opening day also featured the Dancesport Competition, where students showcased elegance, grace, and rhythm.

- 2nd Place: Sian Jholian Quiamco and Angelo Declarado (105)
- 3rd Place: Shane Estrada and Florie Boy Gabia (106)
For the Latin Category:
- 1st Place: John Rey Estrada and Analyn Guadalupe (005)
- 2nd Place: Cherilyn Damalerio and Charles Bayona (005)
- 3rd Place: Rhea Rose Silabay and Jaycob Orquiza (003) (Grade 9)
The two-day celebration of Intramurals 2025 was a success, bringing students together in the spirit of camaraderie, sportsmanship, and fun. With colorful performances, exciting competitions, and unforgettable memories, the event highlighted the unity and talent of Bug-ang NHS students.
