Young Cue Talents Triumph at 2025 Intramural Billiards Tournament

With nerves of steel and unmatched precision, Rayven Santos claimed victory as the billiards champion at the Intramurals 2025 held at Bug-ang National High School on August 29. Dominating the Standard Billiards event in front of an energetic home crowd, Santos showcased strategic brilliance and masterful cue control to secure the title in a thrilling final match that left spectators on the edge of their seats.

The tournament drew skilled players from all grade levels, each demonstrating discipline, passion, and fierce competitiveness. Santos emerged as a standout early in the competition, cementing his reputation as a rising star in the sport.

“This is just the beginning—future champions are on their way,” said event organizers, applauding the competitors’ dedication. The spotlight now shifts to the upcoming district meet, where these young talents will aim to elevate their game, showcasing not only refined skill and sportsmanship but also their growing passion for cue sports.

The Apex_Vanguard Successfully Defends Its Title

The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament, held at Bug-ang National High School on August 29, 2025, marked the second day of intramurals. Players showcased the true spirit of mastery, wielding their heroes with the tenacity of warriors. Each team fought fiercely to defend their towers, united by a single goal: to seize the golden victory.

After a grueling battle, the Apex_Vanguard reclaimed glory, securing their championship title for the second consecutive year. Having previously triumphed in 2024, they represented Bug-ang NHS at the district meet and proved once again that true legends never fade. Through perseverance and teamwork, they embodied the unstoppable force of unity, turning determination into triumph.

The match was a testament to grit and passion, reminding us that effort and sacrifice pave the path to success. Every challenge faced and every strategy forged brings us closer to the pinnacle of victory.

Ang chess ay isang larong tagisan ng isip na kung saan ang piyesa ay mahalaga, bawat galaw ay may pasensya at bawat plano ay may layong abutin ang kampyonato.

Ang mga nag tagumpay ay ang mga manlalaro ng kampo onse at ang nag wagi sa Board 1-Girls ay si Cris Ann Espellita na matatandaang nakamit ang ikalawang puwesto sa Cluster meet 2024 at Danna Marielle Tipdas, Board 2-Girls isa rin sa nag representa ng Bug-ang National High School noong 2024 district meet, muli nilang ipinamalas ang talas ng isip, kumpyansa sa sarili at kalmang pag-iisip sa bawat pagtulak ng piyesa.

Malalakas ma plano ang binitawan ng red scorpion, nagpapatunay na sila'y hindi magpapatalo, agad nilang nakuha ang medalya't tropiyo at ang manlalarong bida sa pagpapakita ng talino ay sina Aichon Jay Bringquez board 1-boys at John Steven Sonoy board 2-boys mga batang bibo sa malalim na pagplano, alang-alang sa seguridad ng kanilang puwesto opensa at depensa ay mahalaga para sa isa't isa.

Magpapatuloy ang laban ng mga manlalaro, pagsasanay sa kanilang sarili ay patuloy nilang mithi at bawat galaw ng piyesa may leksyong dala para sa kanila.

Grade 12 Maroon Dragons, Kampeon sa Basket Tournament ng Bug-Ang National High School

Matagumpay na naipanalo ng Grade 12 Maroon Dragons ang kampeonato sa basket tournament na ginanap sa Bug-Ang National High School. Sa isang mahigpit na labanan, pinatunayan ng mga manlalaro ng Grade 12 ang kanilang husay at galing sa court, na nagbigay sa kanila ng tropeo.

Ang Grade 12 Maroon Dragons ay nagpakita ng kanilang determinasyon at pagkakaisa sa bawat laro, na nagdulot ng kanilang tagumpay. Ang kanilang mga manlalaro ay naglaro nang may buong puso at sipag, na nagbigay sa kanila ng lakas upang makamit ang inaasam na tropeo.

Ang tournament na ito ay nagbigay ng pagkakataon sa mga mag-aaral ng Bug-Ang National High School na ipakita ang kanilang husay at galing sa larangan ng basket. Ang mga tagasuporta ng Grade 12 Maroon Dragons ay nagpakita ng kanilang suporta at pagmamahal sa kanilang koponan, na nagbigay ng inspirasyon sa mga manlalaro.

Sa pagtatapos ng tournament, binigyang-pugay ang Grade 12 Maroon Dragons bilang kampeon. Ang kanilang tagumpay ay magsisilbing inspirasyon sa mga susunod na henerasyon ng mga manlalaro ng Bug-Ang National High School.

COLOR, DANCE, AND SPIRIT MARK THE OPENING OF BUG-ANG NHS INTRAMURALS 2025

Bug-ang NHS, August 28, 2025 — Bug-ang National High School officially opened its much-awaited Intramurals 2025 with a vibrant celebration filled with music, dance, and school spirit.

The day began with a lively parade led by the Mamugnaon Band, which set the festive mood for the rest of the program. Adding excitement to the opening, the first-ever Bayle sa Kalye was held outside the Senior High School building, showcasing the creativity and energy of different grade levels through street dancing.

After an impressive display of talent, Grade 10 triumphed as champion with their captivating performance, marked by strong movements, a well-thought-out concept, and creative costumes. Following closely, Grade 11 secured 1st Runner-Up, Grade 12 took 2nd Runner-Up, and Grade 9 landed 3rd Runner-Up.

The event also highlighted the raising of banners for each grade-level team, proudly representing their identities: Green T-Rex, Golden Tiger, Red Scorpion, Blue Venom, Purple Phoenix, and Maroon Dragon.

A symbolic part of the ceremony was the lighting of the urn, signifying the official start of the intramurals. This was led by Patrick I. Amando, a Bug-ang NHS student who previously represented the school in the Division Meet in throwing events.

The opening day also featured the Dancesport Competition, where students showcased elegance, grace, and rhythm.

- 2nd Place: Sian Jholian Quiamco and Angelo Declarado (105)
- 3rd Place: Shane Estrada and Florie Boy Gabia (106)

For the Latin Category:

- 1st Place: John Rey Estrada and Analyn Guadalupe (005)
- 2nd Place: Cherilyn Damalerio and Charles Bayona (005)
- 3rd Place: Rhea Rose Silabay and Jaycob Orquiza (003) (Grade 9)

The two-day celebration of Intramurals 2025 was a success, bringing students together in the spirit of camaraderie, sportsmanship, and fun. With colorful performances, exciting competitions, and unforgettable memories, the event highlighted the unity and talent of Bug-ang NHS students.
