Bug-ang National High School Concludes Successful Intramurals 2026

BUG-ANG, [August 22, 2026]— Bug-ang National High School successfully concluded its Intramurals 2026 on August 22 after two days of exciting competitions, teamwork, sportsmanship, and camaraderie among students held from August 21–22, 2026

With the theme “Empowering Camaraderie: Together We Play, Together We Triumph,”the recently concluded intramurals brought students together through various athletic competitions. Beyond winning medals, the event highlighted the importance of discipline, cooperation, perseverance, and respect among participating teams.

Based on the official medal tally, the Maroon Dragons emerged as the overall champion after collecting 19 gold, 10 silver, and 2 bronze medals for a total of 31 medals.

The Purple Phoenix secured the First Runner-Up position with 13 gold, 7 silver, and 9 bronze medals, totaling 29 medals. Meanwhile, the Red Scorpions finished as Second Runner-Up, earning 4 gold, 7 silver, and 11 bronze medals, or 22 medals overall.

The Blue Venom placed Third Runner-Up with 4 gold, 7 silver, and 6 bronze medals, for a total of 17 medals. The Golden Tigers followed in Fourth Runner-Up with 1 gold, 9 silver, and 7 bronze medals, also accumulating 17 medals. The Green T-Rex completed the standings in Fifth Runner-Up, with 1 gold, 2 silver, and 6 bronze medals, totaling 9 medals.

More than the medal tally, the two-day celebration demonstrated that intramurals are not only about competition but also about building friendships, developing confidence, and strengthening the school community. Students displayed determination in every event while cheering and supporting their respective teams.

The successful conclusion of the Intramurals 2026 serves as a reminder that victory is measured not only by the number of medals won but also by the values learned and the bonds created along the way.

As Bug-ang National High School celebrates its athletes and teams, the spirit of camaraderie remains the greatest victory: together they played, together they competed, and together they triumphed.

**A New Rhythm of Pride: Bug-ang National High School Unveils the Mamugnaon Band**

Under the warmth of the morning sun, a new symbol of talent, unity, and school pride came to life at Bug-ang National High School. The photograph captures the newly formed Bug-ang NHS Mamugnaon Band, bringing together students whose passion for music, movement, discipline, and teamwork promises to add a vibrant beat to every school celebration.

The word "Mamugnaon" meaning creative and resourceful, perfectly reflects the spirit of this newly organized group. More than simply a musical ensemble, the Mamugnaon Band represents the students’ willingness to discover their talents, work together, and proudly represent their school.

The newly formed group is composed of 79 talented student members, each playing an important role in creating a spectacular performance. Leading the visual presentation are 30 Majorettes, whose graceful movements, precise routines, and energetic performances add color and excitement to every appearance. Joining them are 10 Lyrists, whose musical talents contribute to the artistic expression of the group.

Adding visual discipline and coordination to the ensemble are 20 Color Guard members, who bring synchronized movements and vibrant formations to performances. Providing the powerful heartbeat of the band are 19 Drummers, whose rhythm and energy bring the entire group together.

Behind every synchronized step, every beat of the drum, and every formation is a story of practice, perseverance, teamwork, and commitment. Becoming part of a band requires more than talent—it demands discipline, patience, cooperation, and the determination to improve.

For the students of Bug-ang National High School, the Mamugnaon Band is more than a newly formed organization. It is a community where young talents can grow, friendships can flourish, and school pride can shine.

As they take their first steps toward future performances, the members of the Bug-ang NHS Mamugnaon Band carry with them a powerful message: when individual talents come together with one purpose, they can create something truly remarkable.

With every beat, step, spin, and flourish, the Mamugnaon Band is ready to make its mark—and let the rhythm of Bug-ang National High School pride be heard.

Our One Entrance and One Exit Policy will be implemented.

Entrance - Senior High School Gate
Exit-Junior High School Gate

Senior High School Gate will close eight in the morning, then one in the afternoon.

Junior High School Gate will open after class dismissal which is 11:45 in the morning and 4:30 in the afternoon.

Please be guided accordingly!
