A new school year officially begins as the Hugo Perez Elementary School – Main community gathered for the First Flag Raising Ceremony and Opening of School Year 2026–2027, marking another chapter of learning, growth, and excellence for every Perezian learner.
The meaningful ceremony was proudly led by the Grade 6 Department, whose dedication and leadership set a positive and inspiring tone for the start of the academic year. Through the solemn flag-raising rites, the singing of the National Anthem, and the recitation of patriotic pledges, learners, teachers, parents, and stakeholders were reminded of the values of unity, discipline, responsibility, and love for country.
One of the highlights of the program was the inspiring message delivered by **Ma’am Maria Antonia P. Adao, School Principal II**. In her address, she warmly welcomed all learners, teachers, and parents as they embark on another year of educational opportunities and challenges. She emphasized the importance of commitment, perseverance, respect, and collaboration in achieving the school's goals and ensuring quality education for all. Her message encouraged everyone to embrace the new school year with enthusiasm, positivity, and determination to succeed.
As classrooms once again come alive with eager minds and hopeful hearts, Hugo Perez Elementary School – Main remains steadfast in its commitment to nurturing learners who are academically competent, values-oriented, and prepared to become responsible members of society.
May this School Year 2026–2027 be filled with meaningful learning experiences, remarkable achievements, and countless opportunities for every learner to shine. Together, let us continue building a stronger, brighter, and more successful future for our school community.
