September 30, 2025 will be remembered as a day of tragedy for our brothers and sisters in Cebu. A devastating earthquake struck the region, leaving behind not just physical destruction, but emotional scars that will take time to heal. Homes were lost, communities shaken, and lives changed in an instant.

As Paulinians, we are called to live out our core values especially Community and Charity. In moments like this, we are reminded of our responsibility to care, to show up, and to extend our love and compassion beyond our own walls.

We may be far from Cebu, but our prayers, voices, and efforts can reach them. Let us come together in solidarity to support those affected through our thoughts, actions, and any help we can offer. Every small act of kindness matters.

May healing, strength, and hope find every heart that is hurting.

Spearheaded by the PSG, the event featured inspirational reflections and concluded with the launch of several student-led initiatives like the Stories of Hope literacy drive, reaffirming SPUP's dedication to nurturing young peace advocates.
