PAGASA: At 3:00 AM today, the center of Severe Tropical Storm "OPONG" {BUALOI} was estimated based on all available data at 465 km East of Guiuan, Eastern Samar (10.8°N, 130.0°E), with maximum sustained winds of 110 km/h near the center and gustiness up to 135 km/h. It is moving West Northwestward at 20 km/h. Southwest Monsoon affecting the western section of the country.
