But Ruth said, “Don’t ask me to leave you! Don’t beg me not to follow you! Every place you go, I will go. Every place you live, I will live. Your people will be my people. Your God will be my God. 17 And where you die, I will die. And there I will be buried. I ask the Lord to punish me terribly if I do not keep this promise: Only death will separate us.”

Ruth 1:16-17

Remember in the story? Ruth clinging or holding on to Naomi when she already lost her husband (Naomi’s son), she showed her love and loyalty to Naomi because she saw one thing and that is Naomi’s Love for her GOD.

Just like us our love for God can also be a way for other to know who our God is.

Our love for God can lead others to….

1. Follow God (Where you I will go) - If we show to the world how much we love our God and how we follow Him in our daily lives it will lead them to follow Him as well. Just like Ruth when she saw how devoted Naomi is to her God. That is why she said to Naomi “Where you go, I will go and where you stay, I will stay” that means she will follow wherever she goes. Let our lives be a model of God’s Love to others so that they will be encourage to follow Him.

2. Love God (Your God will be my God) – If our love for God is evident in us. It will lead others to love our God also. When Ruth said to Naomi “Your God will be my God”. She made a commitment to Naomi and acknowledge Naomi’s God to be her God also. Ruth is a Moabite. She acknowledge the God of Israel because she saw the Love of Naomi to her God. If we show our Love for God to the people around us it can be a way for them to Love our God as well.

Always remember that our life is a written testimony of God, it can lead others to Follow and Love our God.

Don’t be afraid to show our love for God to the world.
Be a testimony of God’s love to others.

Hope is not wishful thinking, Hope is confident expectation that God will fulfill His promises.

For this is the hope of our salvation. But hope means that we must trust and wait for what is still unseen. For why would we need to hope for something we already have? So because our hope is set on what is yet to be seen, we patiently keep on waiting for its fulfillment.
