WHAT IF ZORO is the KEY?

Soru Soru no Mi - that belonged to Carmel who mysteriously disappeared, but confirmed to be dead. Power obtained by Charlotte Linlin through unknown means. At the end of her fight against Kid and Law, Big Mom fell into Wano’s magma chamber and was later joined by the defeated Kaido. As a result, an underwater volcano erupted from where Onigashima had previously sat, with both Emperors, presumably, getting caught up in the explosion. We still don’t know if the two Emperors are actually dead.

Vegapunk and his Multiple Bodies Explained

Dr. Vegapunk is the leading scientist in the employment of the Marines. His work includes discovering the secrets and uses of seastone, the secrets of how Devil Fruit powers work, the co-discovery of the Lineage Factor and its applications, and various other scientific achievements that are said to be at least 500 years ahead of current technology.

At some point in the past, Vegapunk managed to split his being into six different people. These six people, referred to as “satellites“, all identify as Dr. Vegapunk and will introduce themselves as such, but also possess their own names and number designations to distinguish them. The satellites are also distinguished by appearing to embody a particular aspect of Vegapunk’s personality.

Punk-01 “Shaka”, embodying his “good”. Very little of Shaka has been shown so far. They appear to wear a futuristic metal helmet over their head, and has an earpiece and antenna on their left ear which enables communication with the other Vegapunk satellites.

Punk-02 “Lilith”, embodying his “evil”. Lilith has the appearance of a young woman with wild light hair. Like the other satellites, she wears an earpiece and antenna on her left ear which enables communication with Vegapunk’s other manifestations. Being designated the “evil” satellite of Vegapunk, Lilith is the manifestation of Vegapunk’s ruthless and malevolent traits. She utilizes her technology and weaponry to steal from voyagers who trespass on Egghead, justifying this to Shaka as necessary for the sake of keeping Vegapunk’s research operational. However, she possesses a rash attitude which can cause her to underestimate those she attacks, as she was stunned when Shaka, the manifestation of Vegapunk’s logic, pointed out that the Straw Hats were equipped and poised to deal great harm to herself and her army of Sea Beasts.
Punk-03 “Edison”, embodying his “thinking”.
Punk-04 “Pythagoras”, embodying his “wisdom”.
Punk-05 “Atlas”, embodying his “violence”. Atlas is an extremely large girl, appearing to be as tall as Kaido according to Luffy, with a young appearance. Being designated the “violence” satellite of Vegapunk, Atlas has a short temper and is prone to violence upon getting angry. Befitting her large size, Atlas possesses significant strength, as she was able to punch Luffy and send him slamming into a wall with great force, leaving him with bruises. She also possesses great durability, being barely affected by a normal punch from Luffy. Her body made a metallic clanging sound when Luffy struck it, meaning she may wear armor or have cyborg modifications. Her gloves, which are called Light-Pressure Gloves, allow her to interact with light as though it is tangible. This will cause the holograms on Egghead to react to her actions as though they were real, such as when she punched a dragon hologram and it recoiled.Punk-06 “York”, embodying his “greed”.
Each of Vegapunk’s satellites are written with the character for the specific trait but are pronounced differently. Their origins are unclear, so these are the best guesses:

Is the new character introduced in Chapter 1061 the real Vegapunk?

With the release of Chapter 1061 and the reveal of Dr. Vegapunk everyone has begun to speculate why Vegapunk looks as they do and whether or not she is even the real Vegapunk.

1-Android Theory
The first thing that came to mind upon reading this chapter was that the Vegapunk we see is actually an android. We know Vegapunk is very good at making androids since he was responsible for the Pacifistas and now the Seraphim.
With this Vegapunk could have uploaded his consciousness into an android body. Unlike the Vinsmokes and Franky this body would be completely mechanical and thus could be modified without limit. Vegapunk may also be able to move his consciousness from the android body into a central computer, think Karen from SpongeBob.

2-Clone Theory
What if instead of going the android route Vegapunk went for a clone. Now I know what you’re thinking “Vegapunk was said to be an old man. How can this girl be his clone?” Well we already know that he and Judge discovered bloodline elements or DNA, but we also know that Judge’s clone army can be programmed (Chapter 840).So what if the woman we see is in fact the real Vegapunk but a clone, a clone that had its DNA altered to become female. Perhaps he took inspiration from Ivankov’s Devil Fruit.

3-Split Brain Theory
This one is the most out there one but also my favorite. So currently in the story Vegapunk leads a group called the Special Science Group or SSG, now what if the SSG wasn’t what you thought it was. What if SSG is composed of only Vegapunk. Think Pain from Naruto, there were six paths, six different bodies, all connected via the Rinnegan. Or if you’ve ever played Cyberpunk in the side quest beat on the brat there is a pair of twins that had their brains linked, one person two bodies. Stay with me here but when Vegapunk appears she has a device over her left ear, you could say that it’s just a regular ear piece so she can talk to the marines on the island, or it could be an antenna that links this Vegapunk to the other Vegapunks that make up SSG.

What if Vegapunk and the people who are a part of SSG decided to have one collective brain split between multiple bodies. They would do this by linking each person’s brain together so they’re on the same wavelength, multiple parts acting as one. An example could be like your heart, your heart is made of billions of individual living cells doing their own thing, but they create a single heart. These individual bodies would be like the cells, and collectively they become the entity known as Vegapunk. We can see on this Vegapunks suit it says “PUN(K) 02, perhaps the old man Vegapunk is 01 or 00 and the other parts of Vegapunk are numbered accordingly.

Vivi is the Key to Unlock Uranus

A lot of people are questioning why Im has not used this power before on places like Ohara and Wano. There have been a few convincing answers to this but I have another plausible explanation. The reason why Im didn’t use Uranus before is because they couldn’t use its power themselves. They needed someone, a key to unlock this power. And the key is Vivi.

This could explain why it only appeared/was used now. Im currently has Vivi captured and can now freely use Uranus. This would explain why Im had Vivi’s photo, even taking it with him/her to the empty throne. In perfect condition even.

Uranus is only used after Vivi disappears. The Nefertari Family is one of the twenty royal families which founded the World Government. Crocodile was looking for Pluton on Alabasta but that’s in Wano. What if Uranus was in Alabasta instead? The info about it could’ve been on the Poneglyph inside the buried dome. And the Nefertari Family bloodline could be the key to using it kinda like Shirahoshi being Poseidon.

Cobra could’ve been killed because he asked the wrong question and because Im didn’t need 2 keys to Uranus. This would be an interesting way of making Vivi relevant again. And this would mean Luffy has a strong connection to all three Ancient Weapons.

The “Big Incident” caused by Bartolomeo is the set up for the next meeting between Shanks and Luffy!

This has obviously been discussed before but it got way more likely after Chapter 1054. Shanks decides not to reunite with Luffy just yet, but instead decides to go after Bartolomeo, who has been ravaging their territory.

First, it would be pretty disappointing if their meeting happened with Shanks just strolling by after Luffy accomplishes something and him going “hey man, great work, you are a great pirate now”. Oda had the opportunity for this in Wano and it’s pretty clear he isn’t going that way. Second, while Shanks was the one who taught Luffy the freedom of the pirate life, he was also the first one to teach him the harsh responsibilities pirates have since Chapter 1.

Considering this and what we saw in Chapter 1054, it’s pretty clear that Shanks isn’t gonna led Bartolomeo’s actions slide. He caused ruckus in a place protected by him and disrespected his crew’s accomplishments.

That said, I think the meet up between Shanks and Luffy will happen in context that Shanks will deal with Bartolomeo and other Grand Fleet Commanders and Luffy will be called into helping them. “The Big incident caused by the Straw Hat Grand Fleet” hinted by the narrator in Chapter 800 is the confrontation between these 2 Yonko.

• The chapter begins with a ship sailing in the seas near Sphinx Island (the homeland of Whitebeard).

• Marco is leaving the ship and thanks the crew for taking him there. The ship is Red Hair Pirates' ship.

• Shanks asks Marco if he isn't going to join them. Marco tells Shanks to stop joking, he's tired of being the babysitter of the great pirates.

• Shanks tells Marco not to exaggerate because he's not a handful. Ben Beckman tells Shanks that he is, while their nakamas laugh at his captain.

• Everyone says goodbye to Marco as he flies towards Sphinx Island.

• A flashback begins, it takes place in Wanokuni, during the night of the festival after Ryokugyuu's attack.

• Luffy: "What?! You're not coming with us!! Become a pirate~~~!!"

• Sanji: "No~~~ Yamato-chan~~~~~~"

• Yamato: "I'm sure you all noticed too, right? The incident with the “forest guy" was only resolved thanks to someone's powerful Haki.

• Kaidou may have fallen... But now we have all those guys coming after Wanokuni!! I cannot allow it!! How could I go on adventures while I'm worried about this country? I'm sure we both feel the same way!!"

• Yamato talks to Luffy totally convinced of what he says, he even winks at Luffy confidently.

• Luffy looks at Yamato seriously but he understands what Yamato says, so he accepts Yamato's decision and leaves Momonosuke and the others in his care.

• Zoro asks Yamato to be careful to not hurt Momonosuke's feelings because he has a very strong sense of pride. Yamato tells Zoro he knows it.

• Yamato says too that he is going to look for a personal goal in Wanokuni in order to fulfill himself even more. Sanji cries for Yamato's decision.

• Marco arrives flying where Luffy and the others are. Marco tells Luffy that a suitable ship appeared near Wanokuni and he is going to leave the island on it.

• There's a little Marineford flashback when Marco told Jinbe to take Ace's brother with him (after Ace's death). Luffy then thanks Marco for helping him during the Summit War.

• Marco: "I'm sure Ace would be very happy if he knew how far you've come!!"

• Luffy: "Shishishi!! I see!!"

• Marco flies off Wanokuni with one last message for Luffy.

• Marco: "From now on this is your era!! Go forward with determination!!"

• Luffy: "Of course, I'll do!!"

• Flashback ends. We return to the present, to see Marco arriving at Sphinx Island.

• Cut to “Amazon Lily", the island of women. Part of the big mountain in the center of the island has been destroyed.

• Gloriosa says it's the first time that men were able to invade the island so deeply and that the damage in the city is huge. Hancock says that as long as she's on the island, enemies will keep coming.

• Hancock: "Uh... Now that the situation has come to this... I want to be married to Luffy... ♡"

• Gloriosa: "You always wanted that, it's not something new..."

• A new flashback begins, it takes place during the Marines' attack a few weeks ago. Marines manage to break down the city gateway, but Kuja counterattacks.

• Marines then order to dispatch the new Pacifistas called "Seraphim” to the frontline and ordered to activate the recording cameras too. Vice Admiral Yamakaji says there's no sight of Hancock yet.

• A little girl with wings and a flame on her back appears in front of Marguerite and Sweet Pea, but they don't want to fight with a kid. The girl, who has star-shaped pupils, shoots a laser with her hand like the Pacifistas we already know.

• Suddenly, Blackbeard Pirates' ship appears behind the Marine warships. A powerful seaquake pushes warships off Blackbeard's path to Amazon Lily. Marines say the Sea Kings will notice the seaquake.

• Teach lands on the island with Catarina Devon and Vasco Shot.

• Teach: "Zehaha!! I'm here for you, Pirate Empress!! There's no way I'm going to let your power falls into Marine's hands!!!"

• Catarina says Hancock has a wonderful face so she wants Hancock's head to make it her treasure. Teach tells Catarina that she can do whatever she wants as long as he can get Hancock's power. Vasco says it's better to capture Hancock alive and take her with them.

• Marines ask Vice Admiral Yamakaji to give them the order to attack Blackbeard, but Yamakaji says they must wait for permission from the headquarters.

• Teach attacks the Marines with Gura Gura no Mi power as he tells Boa Hancock to come out.

• Koby enters with a group of Marines in Kuja's city and tries to reason with Boa Hancock.

• Koby: "Hancock-san!! We don't want to use violence!! If you come with us, I promise we'll leave immediately!!"

• Marigold and Sandersonia tell her sister to stay away, because they'll take care of the Marines. However, Hancock heads into battle.

• Hancock: "How ridiculous... I won't be in the hands of either side, I don't bow down to anyone!!!"

• Teach's subordinates ask him for help against a new enemy that appeared. It's a child but they cannot do anything against him. We see an explosion caused by a laser from the Pacifistas.

• Teach: "Huh? It can't be... White hair... brown skin...!! And black wings!?

• The kid arrives where Teach is. The kid also has a flame on his back and carries a big sword similar to Mihawk's sword (in fact the kid looks like Mihawk child version that Oda drew in an SBS). The kid attacks Teach, the cut of his sword parts in two pieces the big mountain of the island.

• Teach: "PX...!? S**t...!! This brat is a Pacifista~~~~!!! What the hell is going on!!!"

• The Pacifista attacks Teach again, but he stops the sword with his Haki-coated arm. Teach uses his powers to absorb all that is around him.

• Teach: ""Black Hole”!!!"

• Boa Hancock uses “Slave Arrow" attack to turn all nearby enemies into stone, including Helmeppo and Vice Admiral Yamakaji. Koby orders the Pacifista to stop immediately because it could destroy the stone statues with its laser beams. Boa Hancock is about to use “Perfume Femur” attack but someone stops her.

• In an impressive double-page, we see that Teach catches Boa Hancock by the neck and that he has lifted Hancock from the ground in front of the Kuja Pirates and Koby (who are next to them). Teach is using the Yami Yami no Mi's powers, so Boa Hancock can't use her powers. We discover their new bounties.

• Boa Hancock: "Get your dirty hands off of me!!"

• [Former Shichibukai. “Pirate Empress". Boa Hancock. Bounty: 1,659,000,000 Berries]

• Teach: "Zehahahahahaha!! It seems they call you “Empress” for a reason!!! Ohh, you turned all my idiots into stone!!!"

• [Emperor “Blackbeard". Marshall D. Teach. Bounty: 3,996,000,000 Berries]

• As Teach says this, we see that even Catarina Devon and Vasco Shot have been turned into stone. Koby doesn't know what to do in this situation.

• Teach tells Hancock that he has been patiently waiting to get her powers. Hancock tells him that her powers are built upon her own beauty. If Teach kills her, those who have turned into stone will remain in that state. Even the next user of the Mero Mero no Mi will not be able to reverse it. Koby says that Hancock is a problem bigger than he expected.

• Teach: "This situation looks like it's not going anywhere, right "Hero” Koby!! You did me a favor in the Rocky Port incident. Thanks to you I was able to defeat “Ouchoku/Wang Zhi" and become the boss of the "Pirate Island"!!"

• Koby: "...!!"

• Teach: "Do you really think if I let her go... she's going to be nice and turn everyone back to normal?"

• Koby: "If she doesn't turn the soldiers back to normal... It will be a big problem. Hah... Hah..."

• Hancock: "I will do it if you all leave the island...!! Ugh."

• Teach squeezes Hancock's neck tighter.

• Teach: "And... that is a lie!! The moment I let you go, you will turn us into stone. And that will be our end, right? To be honest, I think there's no way a man can't be affected by your powers. It's a difficult situation... So I think I should just kill you."

• Koby: "Don't do it, the number of victims will be too high!!!"

• Suddenly, someone with a very powerful Haki appears.

• Rayleigh: "I expected the Marines, but this... Even the landscape of the island has been altered... Sorry Hancock, I'm late."

• Teach: "Da... "Dark King” Rayleigh!!?"

• Rayleigh draws his sword.

• Rayleigh: "Hey "Whitebeard's apprentice”!! It's not very mature of me to say it, but I dislike you."

• Koby and Teach's subordinates freak out. Rayleigh keeps talking.

• Rayleigh: "Hancock, return everyone to normal... I will be the witness. You all will leave this island... without making any stupid move."

• Back to “Amazon Lily" in the present. We see that Rayleigh didn't arrive on the island alone, Shakky is with him and we discover her true identity.

• Shakky: "Advancements always bring problems... Thanks to Vegapunk's “Seastone Warships”, the Calm Belt is no longer a safe place."

• [Empress of Amazon Lily from 2 generations ago. Former captain of Kuja Pirates. Shakuyaku]

• Rayleigh: "To be honest, things have been favorable for us. I'm old now, so I wouldn't be able to defeat the current Blackbeard."

• Rayleigh says that it seems the Marines believe they will be able to replace the Shichibukai with the new weapons they've brought to the island. Marigold and Sandersonia talk about them.

• Marigold: "At the end of the battle, those 2..."

• Sandersonia: "They didn't have a single scratch!! And strangely...!! One of them looked exactly like our big sister when she was a child!!"

• We see a picture of that “Seraphim” face that the Marines used on Amazon Lily. Indeed, her face is exactly the same as Boa Hancock's face when she was a child, although her pupils are star-shaped.

• The chapter ends with a Marine ship reporting what happened in Amazon Lily.

• Marines: "Yes sir, we're landing at “Egg Head” port. Regarding Captain Koby, who has been kidnapped..."

• In the last picture, we see a page of a newspaper with Koby's photo. The narrator says that Captain Koby, the hero of the "Rocky Port Incident", has been kidnapped by the Yonkou “Blackbeard” and his pirate crew. His current situation is unknown...

Why Shanks is respected by both Pirates and the World Government?

1. Shanks’ Strenght

His Yonko status comes from him being crazy strong, just like Big Mom, Kaido, Whitebeard, etc. Because of his strength, he is feared and respected by pirates. Furthermore Shanks has been implied to have the best crew out of all the current Yonko and he would no doubt win in a full out pirate war among all the Yonkos.

2. Shanks as “The Gatekeeper”

Many people have stated that Shanks might be a gate keeper to Laugh Tale, meaning he will hinder pirates from reaching the One Piece. My theory is that Shanks has made a “deal” (I’ll explain the quotation marks below) with the World Government, stating that he will protect the One Piece to be found, and that is part of where his influence comes from.

3. Shanks paralleled to Doflamingo

What’s more is that he is sort of a parallel to Doflamingo. Upon being on Roger’s ship, he knows about the World’s secrets. And since he is too strong to be killed, the World Government would rather have a cooperating relationship with him than a hostile one.

4. The Truth of the “Deal”

This deal with the World Government is not entirely true. Shanks is not doing so to keep the treasure hidden and protecting the World Government. He is doing so waiting for the right moment to act.
