One Gun Pilipinas Statement and Condemnation for The Fatal Shooting inside the San Jose National High School Tacloban

One Gun Pilipinas stands in deep sorrow and vehement condemnation regarding the horrific and fatal shooting incident that transpired inside the campus of San Jose National High School in Tacloban City this morning.

​Schools must be sacred zones of peace, learning, and growth. No child, educator, or parent should ever have to face the terror of gun violence within the very walls meant to protect and nurture our youth.

​We firmly reiterate our stance: One Gun Pilipinas opposes violence in all its forms, by all means, and at all costs—most especially when it threatens and claims the lives of our young ones.

​We extend our deepest condolences, thoughts, and prayers to the families of the victims who lost their lives today, and we pray for the swift healing of those wounded. We also stand in solidarity with the entire Taclobanon community, the students, faculty, and staff processing this immense trauma.

​We call upon our local authorities for a swift, thorough investigation, and we urge a collective, nationwide effort to strengthen the protection of our schools. Our children deserve a future free from fear.
