What an exemplary example of a great leader. If only all leaders/CEOs are like him, the world would be a much better place. But they’re all greedy, power hungry, and corrupt; thinking only about themselves and what they can control and get from companies, positions, etc. They don’t care if they’re already stepping on others or robbing others their rights or benefits. ©️

In the middle of Japan’s 2009 financial crisis, Japan Airlines CEO Haruka Nishimatsu made a decision few executives would even consider he cut his own salary to $90,000, less than what his pilots earned, in order to avoid laying off employees. While other corporate leaders clung to bonuses and private perks, Nishimatsu gave up the comforts of corner-office leadership and stepped into the trenches with his staff. He chose people over profit, proving that real leadership is measured in sacrifice, not salary.

Nishimatsu rejected luxury entirely. He took public transportation to work, lined up in the cafeteria like everyone else, and sat in a modest office without walls. He didn’t hide behind policy memos or executive distance he worked side by side with his team, earning their respect not through authority, but through empathy and action. During one of Japan Airlines’ toughest periods, his approach became a quiet beacon of solidarity and dignity in corporate culture.

His story became a global example of values-driven leadership, inspiring others to rethink what it means to lead during hardship. When companies are quick to cut staff while protecting top-tier compensation, Nishimatsu's choice reminds us that leadership isn’t just about tough decisions it’s about making the right ones for the people who keep your mission alive.

I wasn’t looking for a cat. I wasn’t looking for anything, really. The truth is, I was sinking

— the kind of sinking where you don’t even fight it anymore. My days blurred into nights, my

nights into nothing at all. I stopped answering my phone. I stopped leaving my bed. The silence

in my apartment felt heavier than my own breath, and I was too tired to care. Then one rainy

afternoon, I heard a sound outside my window. A faint, broken cry. At first, I thought I imagined it

— a ghost sound in my fogged-up mind. But there it was again. A soft, desperate meow. I

opened the window, and there he was — small, soaked, trembling. A little black cat with wide

golden eyes, clinging to the windowsill for dear life. I don’t know what made me do it, but I

reached out. And he let me. I wrapped him in my old hoodie, the one that smelled like all the

days I didn’t want to face. His tiny body was so cold, and his heart beat so fast against my palm.

He didn’t fight. He didn’t run. He just looked at me — like I was the first safe thing he’d ever

seen. That night, for the first time in months, I stayed awake — watching over him the way I

wished someone would have watched over me. I found some tuna in the back of my cupboard,

held him while he ate it straight from my fingers. I whispered to him even though I didn’t know

his name yet. And he purred — a broken, raspy purr, like a motor that had almost given up. That

little life in my hands lit something inside me. I had to wake up to feed him. I had to go outside to

buy litter. I had to get up because he needed me. And somehow, needing me saved me. Days

turned into weeks, and we built a fragile world together. When I cried, he curled into my chest.

When I couldn’t sleep, he stretched across my pillow like a soft, purring guardrail against the

dark. When my mind whispered cruel things, his gentle paws reminded me that here, in this

moment, I was loved. I gave him a name — Chance — because that’s what he gave me. I saved

him from the rain that day. But the truth is — this cat saved my life

Amazing invention:

💡 FILIPINO GENIUS LIGHTS UP THE WORLD: The Amazing Saltwater Lamp That's Changing Lives!

Meet Aisa Mijeno, a brilliant Filipino engineer who invented something incredible - a lamp that runs entirely on saltwater! This revolutionary device is bringing light to thousands of families in remote communities who don't have access to electricity.

THE SIMPLE SCIENCE:

Just mix two tablespoons of ordinary salt with one glass of water, and you've got 8 hours of bright, clean light! No batteries needed, no fuel required, no pollution created. The SALt lamp uses advanced metal-air technology to turn saltwater into safe, sustainable electricity.

BORN FROM THE HEART:

Aisa's inspiration came during a visit to the Butbut tribe in northern Philippines, where she saw families relying on dangerous kerosene lamps for light. These lamps cause fires, produce toxic fumes, and harm health - especially for children. She knew there had to be a better way.

CHANGING COMMUNITIES:

The SALt lamp is already transforming lives across remote villages in the Philippines and beyond. Children can study safely at night, families can work longer hours, and communities are reducing their dependence on expensive, harmful fuels. It's sustainable lighting that actually works!

GLOBAL RECOGNITION:

This amazing invention has caught worldwide attention, even being presented to world leaders. Aisa proves that the best innovations come from understanding real problems and caring about people who need solutions most.

From a simple idea to a life-changing invention - this is Filipino innovation at its finest!

She’s not difficult to love.

She’s simply an old soul living in a world that often moves too fast to notice the little things that mean everything.

Her heart beats to a softer rhythm, one that longs for gentleness, for consistency, for the kind of love that isn’t loud or performative but deep and quietly unwavering.

She believes in slow mornings, handwritten notes, forehead kisses, and conversations under the stars.

And if you’re lucky enough to be loved by her, you’ll soon realize that what she desires is not extravagant... it’s simply rare.

She dreams of a love that’s patient and warm.

The kind where you open the door for her and call her “darlin” with a soft smile, not because it’s expected, but because that’s the kind of man you choose to be.

She wants to feel cared for in the little things.. like you starting her car on a cold winter morning so she can step into warmth and know she’s thought of, even when you’re not by her side.

These gestures may seem small, but they mean the world to her, because to her ... love is found in the quiet moments, not just the grand ones.

She wants to share life with you in ways that build a home, not just a house.

Maybe it’s trying a new recipe she found online, laughing together over burnt edges or perfect flavors.

Maybe it’s spreading a blanket in the backyard, lying beneath the night sky with fingers intertwined, talking about your future like it’s already unfolding.

She wants to feel like she’s not just a part of your days, but your dreams too.

With her, love is about showing up, showing effort, and showing that you still believe in romance the way it used to be.

She craves the simplicity of togetherness.

A 8 a.m. stroll through a farmer’s market. A shared cup of coffee.
A bubble bath prepared just for her after a long day, with the scent of her favorite candles filling the air and a warm towel waiting.

These are not demands.
These are the ways she feels safe, seen, and loved.

Because she gives that kind of care to others so effortlessly, she only hopes to receive it in return. Not as a reward, but as a reflection of mutual love.

She has been through heartache.

She has been overlooked.

She has been the one who stayed when others walked away.
That’s why she holds so tightly to the kind of love that feels certain.

She wants to find little notes that remind her she matters, to hear words that reassure her she’s irreplaceable.

And when you hold her face in your hands, kiss her forehead, and promise her that she’s not going anywhere, you’re not just giving her peace, you’re healing all the broken promises from before.

So if you ever meet a woman like her, don’t let the world convince you she’s asking for fairy tales.

She’s only asking for effort, kindness, and sincerity.

The kind of love that stood the test of time long before swipes and texts replaced touch and time.

Give her the old-fashioned love she’s dreamt of since she was a little girl and in return, you’ll receive a kind of devotion that this world has almost forgotten.

A wealthy father once took his son to the countryside, hoping to show him what it meant to live in poverty. They spent a few days with a humble farming family. On the way back, the father asked:

— “So, what did you learn?”

The boy smiled and replied:

— “I learned a lot, Dad.

We have one dog… they have five.

We have a tiny pool… they have a flowing river full of life.

Our garden has artificial lights… they have the moon and the stars.

Our yard ends with a fence… theirs stretches as far as the eye can see.

We buy our food… they grow theirs with their own hands.

We listen to music through speakers… they hear birdsong and the whisper of the wind.

We cook fast in a microwave… they cook slowly, and it tastes better.

We lock everything up… they sleep with doors open.

We stare at screens… they connect with the earth, with each other, with life.”

The father was speechless.

The boy looked at him and softly said:

— “Dad… I didn’t realize how poor we really are.”

💫 Sometimes we think we’re teaching a lesson, but life turns it around.

That father wanted to show his son what it meant to have nothing. But the child saw something else—abundance in simplicity, richness in nature, joy in connection.

💛 You too might be richer than you think.
Wealth isn’t always in your pocket—sometimes, it’s in your heart, your peace, your freedom.

"Mental Health"

Mental health is just as important as physical health. People wouldn't function normally if whichever side outweighed the other side. There's a balance that we must take heed of as we go about our days. The world's not meant to be this cruel and ungodly, which led some people to take their lives just to end their misery. If we already knew that this is how it's going to be, then why must we be violent with each other? Why does it feel like it's going to cost a fortune just to be kind to others? 𝙆𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙘𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜. 🤷‍♀️

Treat people the way you want to be treated—to lessen the sufferings of others and also for ourselves.

A very poor man lived with his wife.

One day, his wife, who had very long hair asked him to buy her a comb for her hair to grow well and to be well-groomed.

The man felt very sorry and said no. He explained that he did not even have enough money to fix the strap of his watch he had just broken.
She did not insist on her request.

The man went to work and passed by a watch shop, sold his damaged watch at a low price and went to buy a comb for his wife.

He came home in the evening with the comb in his hand ready to give to his wife.

He was surprised when he saw his wife with a very short hair cut.

She had sold her hair and was holding a new watch band.

Tears flowed simultaneously from their eyes, not for the futility of their actions, but for the reciprocity of their love.

MORAL: To love is nothing, to be loved is something but to love and to be loved by the one you love, that is EVERYTHING. Never take love for granted.

This is apparently an old joke, told in Germany 50 years ago. The parrot while on its own went on the (landline) phone and ordered a big amount of coal which was delivered thrown on front of the house in a big heep.
Owners come home from work upset about the parrot and to punish him they nail him to the wall on his wings. Hanging there he looks around the room there is the crucifix in the corner and the parrot talks to Jesus: You also ordered coal, didn't you? 😂😂😂
