𝑨𝑺 𝑶𝑭 5:00𝑷𝑴

At 9:59 PM on September 30, 2025, a magnitude 6.9 earthquake struck Bogo City, Cebu, placing the Province of Cebu under RED ALERT.

Impact (as of 3:54 PM)
- 65 reported fatalities
- 293 injured
- Widespread power and communication outages across northern Cebu (Bogo, San Remigio, Daanbantayan, Medellin, Tabuelan, and nearby towns)
- Severe infrastructure damage to roads, bridges, schools, churches, markets, and government buildings
- Landslides and collapsed structures in several municipalities
- Thousands displaced and now housed in evacuation centers

Response & Actions
- State of Calamity declared in Cebu Province and affected LGUs
- Search, rescue, and relief operations ongoing with support from PDRRMO, BFP, PNP, AFP, Coast Guard, DOH, and other agencies
- Medical teams, ambulances, and relief goods already deployed to hardest-hit areas

Donation Command Center established at the Heritage Park, Capitol Compound

Immediate Needs
- Water, Medicine, Tents, blankets and Transportation support

Let us continue to pray for the victims and extend help in any way we can.

For now, the Capitol is overflowing with volunteers, a powerful testament to the Cebuanos’ spirit of bayanihan. However, the Provincial Government continues to accept other forms of aid—preferably hygiene kits and essential supplies.
