Emptiness is heavier than stones,
because it fills every space it is not.

I carry what is absent
as though it were iron on my back.

People think void means nothing.
They have never felt it breathe.

> “Nothing is never nothing when you hold it too long.”

I am tired of wearing strength like a mask they forced on me. My grief is mine, yet they demand it stay hidden so they can stay comfortable. I succeed not because I want to, but because they built a cage out of expectations and called it “love.”

I often find myself putting on a brave face, trying to meet the expectations of those around me. It's as if I'm expected to carry on as usual, even when my heart feels heavy. I wish there was more space for vulnerability, for expressing emotions without judgment. It's challenging to navigate these feelings alone, and sometimes I long for a deeper connection or understanding from others. But in the meantime, I strive to find strength within myself, hoping that someday, the burden will lighten and I'll feel more at ease sharing my true self.

Destruction was supposed to hurt,
yet when everything crumbled, I felt lighter.

I miss the weight of my dreams,
but I do not miss their chains.

The paradox of ruin:
It kills you to free you,
and frees you to kill you again.

Life is a labyrinth, not a straight road. Its walls rise high, blocking the view of what lies ahead, forcing us to choose paths without knowing where they lead. Some turns bring joy, others lead to dead ends of disappointment and loss. At times, we circle back to where we began, thinking we are lost, when in truth, we are only being led to learn patience, courage, and resilience. The labyrinth does not aim to trap us—it teaches us that every misstep is a step toward understanding, and every twist hides a chance to grow. The center is never about escape; it is where we meet ourselves.

I am not the story they think I am. They read me like a book, but skip chapters, misquote passages, and invent endings that were never mine. And yet, I am here — waiting for someone patient enough to turn the pages slowly, to see the margins, the footnotes, the unfinished sentences. To know me not as they imagine, but as I am.
