I know his intentions for posting probably came from a good place, heck probably even to motivate people to be better, but there's a time and place for certain things.
For example, would you demonstrate a lesson on how to keep your kids safe while at the funeral of someone who has just lost their child? Probably not right? Because that's insensitive, regardless of your intention, you know that it's not the right time and place.
It's the same case here. People are still suffering. The last thing we want is to preach or brag about these things when they are not OK yet. Emotions are important to consider too, not just logic.
