Carlo is part of EEI’s Human Resources Management Department and is currently the Field Admin Supervisor in an infrastructure project. He is working on the project’s manpower movement and operations such as staffing, benefits and compensation, training, and implementation of Company policies.

Carlo described his profession as a calling, saying, “You will handle the employees’ problems as if they were your own. It can be challenging at times, but it can also be rewarding. It’s like juggling things and hoping none of them fall. While, at the same time, doing your best to support your company’s most valuable asset – our people.”

When asked about the obstacles he and his team were able to overcome, Carlo answered, “During the lockdowns and restrictions, we needed to ensure the safety and welfare of our employees especially those who stayed in our barracks constantly worrying about how their families are doing. Despite the uncertainty, we extended our patience and assisted our employees with their problems.”

“The pandemic has provided us with an opportunity to demonstrate how much we value our employees. I managed over 7,000 manpower in our projects and saw how EEI loves its people, as well as how its people love EEI. Taga-EEI ako! Maraming salamat EEI, hindi mo kami lahat pinabayaan!”, Carlo added.
