5 Things I learned about parenthood:

1. Invest in comfy clothes and footwear over fancy ones. They will outgrow it.

2. Teaching by example is more effective than pure talk.

3. Don’t throw them huge first and second bday parties, they wouldn’t remember it. Make it simple and intimate.

4. Don’t buy them too much toys, give your time and play with them. Being present parents is more than enough.

5. Teach them how to pray and grow their spiritual well-being. Nothing beats children who are spiritually healthy.
