The 2025 International Conference on Methodological Advances in Research (ICMAR) is nearing its conclusion, with Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) proudly hosting the final two days. The success of this global research event is a testament to the strong collaboration and dedicated efforts of all participating member institutions and the Visayas Mindanano Consortium for Journal Publications, Inc.

The conference's success is a shared victory among numerous institutions: Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT), Biliran Province State University (BiPSU), Bohol Island State University (BISU), Bukidnon State University (BukSU), Cebu Normal University (CNU), Eastern Samar State University (ESSU), Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU), Guimaras State University (GSU), Jose Rizal Memorial State University (JRMSU), Leyte Normal University (LNU), Negros Oriental State University (NOrSU), North Eastern Mindanao State University (NEMSU), Northwestern Mindanao State College of Science and Technology (NMSCST), Samar State University (SSU), Surigao del Norte State University (SNSU), University of Eastern Philippines (UEP), University of Northern Philippines (UNP), and University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJR).

Meanwhile, the onsite research paper presentations at the BiPSU gymnasium entered their second day, featuring an anticipated plenary talk by Dr. Tahsina Yasmin of Daffodil International University (DIU), Bangladesh. Her lecture, “Innovation for a Sustainable Future: Transformation in Higher Education Institutions,” emphasized the global relevance of higher education in addressing sustainability challenges.

As ICMAR 2025 progresses, it continues to amplify its mission of cultivating innovation, strengthening societies, and generating solutions to worldwide issues.

Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) heats up the hard court once again as it hosts the Season 4 Interschool Basketball Men’s Tournament elimination rounds on Wednesday, September 24, at the university gymnasium.

The day is set to kick off with a special Faculty and Employees basketball match at 8:00 a.m., followed by a series of exciting clashes.

School of Nursing and Health Sciences (SNHS) Black Mamba vs. School of Management and Entrepreneurship (SME) Griffins will go head-to-head at 9:30 a.m., leading to the School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) Scorpions vs. BiPSU Biliran Campus Water Buffalos’ game at 1:00 p.m. Meanwhile, the showdown between School of Engineering (SOE) Chimera and SNHS Black Mamba will transpire at 2:30 p.m.

Students, employees, and basketball fans are invited to cheer for their teams and witness the battle for pride, skill, and school spirit.

You can use this form to:

𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬 | In view of Executive Order No. 32, Series of 2025 issued by Naval Mayor Gretchen Stephanie M. Espina, which suspends work and classes on September 1 due to persistent heavy rainfall and a low-pressure area, all university activities originally scheduled for September 1 and 2, 2025, are now rescheduled for September 22-23, 2025.

This new schedule was chosen to avoid conflicts with several key university events, including the ISO 9001:2015 External Audit (September 4), Mid-Term Examinations (September 8-12), and the International Conference on Methodological Advances in Research (September 16-18).

In a statement, Biliran Province State University President, Prof. Victor C. Cañezo, Jr.,EdD, CHRP, emphasized the need to "prioritize the regular academic schedule before the upcoming mid-term examinations, ensuring that curricular activities take precedence over extracurricular events."

𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬 | Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) will implement flexible learning and work-from-home arrangements on August 26, 2025, to ensure the safety of its students and employees.

✅ All classes will be held through Flexible Distance Learning, using Offline Resource-Based Activities.

✅ All faculty and administrative staff are directed to work from home. This arrangement is in accordance with CSC Memorandum Circular No. 6, s. 2022, which allows for Flexible Work Arrangements (FWA) during emergencies to ensure the continuity of services.

✅ The meetings scheduled for tomorrow under Memorandum Nos. 123 and 126 will proceed online.

Malugod na ipinagkaloob ng Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino (KWF) ang prestihiyosong Selyo ng Kahusayan sa Wika at Kultura 2025 sa Biliran Province State University (BiPSU), bilang pagkilala sa mataas na antas ng pagsisikap ng unibersidad sa pangangalaga at pagpapalaganap ng wikang Filipino at kultura.

Ang parangal na ito ay taunang ibinibigay ng KWF sa mga itinatag na Sentro ng Wika at Kultura (SWK) sa buong bansa na aktibong sumusuporta sa mga proyekto at programa ng Komisyon. Ang pagkamit ng BiPSU sa selyong ito ay patunay ng patuloy na pagsuporta at pagkakaroon ng sariling inisyatiba ng kanilang Sentro ng Wika at Kultura para sa mga gawaing pangwika at pangkultura sa komunidad.

Ang paggawad ng Selyo ng Kahusayan ay nagpapakita ng mahalagang papel ng mga institusyon ng edukasyon tulad ng BiPSU sa pagpapanatili at pagpapaunlad ng wikang Filipino at iba't ibang kultura ng bansa. ❤️
