Zombies, Sisig Worth Living (and Dying) For, and Community. (Featuring, Fresh Fruit for Rotting Corpses by )

This story is included in Seek Ye W***e (and other stories) collection. If you're into short and eerie reads, grab a copy of this title or hiram nyo sakin basta marunong magbalik.

Some more housekeeping. It took me a while to write this because I'd like to see more undead narratives set in the Philippines (see: my Letterboxd recent watches). Because when I'm writing something, it gives me some itch to attach some RRL to it, which is the whole point of this little art project. Also, I am debating with myself if I should finish the entire Seek Ye W***e (and other Stories) collection first or just straight up write about this entry and share it to the internet so I can finally scratch the itch in my brain and proceed with my other important tasks at hand AKA my job haha.

Bago umalis papuntang polling precinct, sinulat ko sa maliit kong notebook yung precinct number para madaling tandaan kapag naandon na (edited yung number nang konti dito sa post para sure). Mabilis lang proseso, mga bandang hapon na rin kasi.

If only my braincells permit, I would write an entire piece about yung short experience natin sa polling precinct na maisikip at mainit e araw araw yon nararanansan ng mga bata and how the environment affects their education something something at bakit yung dati kong elementary school e pinalitan na pangalan into pangalan ng pulitiko.

Anyway, nung nagthumb mark ako ayaw ko madungisan yung folder o yung balota, pinahid ko paulit ulit sa papel para mawala yung bisa. Napansin ko yung itsura, "uy ipost ko nga to."

Yun lang.
