Blog #24: PS Males Basic Physical Check for Better Mating Performances for Attaining Standard Fertility Level.

This is usually taken for granted in visually checking the Roosters/ C***s particularly if there's Egg Fertility & Feed Quality Concerns.

Please Check these:
> Entire Facial Appearance must be Strong Red Color.
> Comb must be stiff (hard). Not fluppy & down. This also shows the Health Status of the bird.
>Partial Loss of Feathers along the Neck & Back
>Cloaca/ Vent (butt🀫) must have Redness around it. Partial Worn- out of Feathers
>Exposed Skin of the birds must have Redness Color & not Pale White.

Now, if you cannot achieved that Redness Color Appearance among the C***s then try to talk to your Feed Nutritionist cos they might "missed something" in the feed formulation.
Simply the birds show of What Feed Quality or No Quality at all. 😎

Different Brooding Set Up for Different House Constructions.

I. CCS - Closed Tunnel Ventilated House
> Solid Side Walls House
>With Auger Auto‐Feeders & Plastic Slats.
>Brooding Area is 25Ωͺ of the Total Hse Floor Area.
>Side Brooding Curtain along the Entire Length of the House.
>Heater Type used Spot Up Brooder Gas spread on the Entire Brooding Area.
>Applied Minimum Ventilation 5-Cycle run with 30 fpm air speed.

II. Curtain Sided Conventional Hse
>No Minimum Ventilation Fans during Brooding. Natural Ventilation Only.
>Brooding Area is 1/3 of the of the Total House Floor Area.
>Brooding Area is top with Ricehull Litter Materials.
>Provision of Tunnel Curtain on the Brooding Area to properly seal the brooding heat.
>Heater type is Spot Up Brooder Heaters
>All Manual Equipment
