Nube was just one of 3 tiny rescued kittens looking for warmth. 🐱🐾

And he found his furever home. 🏠✨

Thank you to his adopter for opening not just your door, but your heart to him. 💞🫰

Because of you, Nube gets to know what safety, love, and full bellies feel like. 💞🐾

Nube is the first of the 3 to be adopted, and we’re so hopeful his 2 siblings will find their homes too. 🐾

Cats are weirdly obsessed with anything that has edges/walls. Psychologists even call it the _“If I fits, I sits”_ rule. 🐾🗑️

A tray or basket gives them a defined boundary = instant security. It’s like their own little fort where nothing can sneak up from the sides. 🐾💞

MY THERAPIST HAS PAWS 🐾💞

Paris is clingy when I work because to her,
my lap is the safest place in the whole house 🏠💛
It’s not about attention. It’s about trust 🤝🐾

She knows when my shoulders are tense 😮‍💨
She knows when I’ve been staring at the screen too long 💻👀
So she climbs up, curls in, and turns my “work mode”
into “breathe mode” 😌✨

My anxiety drops without me noticing 📉💛
My heart rate slows to match her purrs 🐱💓
Deadlines still exist, but they stop feeling so heavy 🪶

She doesn’t distract me.
She regulates me 🧘‍♀️
She reminds me that I’m not just a person with tasks.

I didn’t know the Hogwarts Headmaster was also good at SBS for my work 🐾😁

We adopted him at 4 months old — scared, skinny, and hiding from everyone. Look at him now 🥹 So sweet, so safe, and always aiming to be near me. He chose me as much as I chose him 🐾💞

Another batch of kittens to tame 🐾🐱

This is the nth batch of kittens brought to my yard — either by my neighbor or by their mama cat. They’re not used to humans yet, so my first job is to earn their trust. They hide + get super scared every time I go near 😿

Next step: deworming, removing ticks & fleas, then finding them responsible furparents who’ll give them a real furever home 💞

Let’s all be responsible pet owners. Adoption saves lives. 🐾✨

Rescue isn’t always cute pics. Sometimes it’s scared kittens, fleas, and a lot of patience 🥺

Every scared kitten hiding today could be someone’s best friend tomorrow. But only if we choose adoption over shopping + spay/neuter over more litters 💞

It’s funny — I already have 10 cats at home, but every time I visit my friend’s house, I still crave cat affection 😹 There’s just something wonderful about showing love to every cat you meet 🐾💞

I got to walk this afternoon and it was 10x more enjoyable with my cats around 😸 They don’t just walk with me — they calm me down + melt my stress away after my shift 💞🐾
