On July 17, 2025, at around 7:30 in the evening, due to an intense showdown between the two above-mentioned teams, battling for the spot in the finals --- players of both team lost temper and made an unsportsmanlike action during the 3rd quarter of the game which led to a clash among players, forcing the game to stop.

The Sangguniang Kabataan ng Dinahican will never tolerate actions that lead to harm and danger, not just for the players, but for every Dinahican youth. In this regard, the SK Council, coaches/managers and captains have collaboratively deliberate and discuss the issue.

Today, July 18, 2025, at 1:00 in the afternoon, a meeting was convened together with the SK Council, Coach/Manager Mr. Arnold and Mrs. Lyra Guno (Double-D), Coach Jaypee Alcazar (Parola), Team Captain Donnyl Harvey Guno (Double-D) and Team Captain Jhondel Mamiit (Parola).

According to the Internal Rules, all players who are involved in the assault must be automatically thrown out of the game. However, this wasnโ€™t agree on. The discussion continued until both teams have decided not to play for the rest of the season. Hence, Yschan Qrystoff will be the champion. Both Parola and Double-D are 1st Place while Red Stephen is 2nd Place, following the ranking after elimination round.

The Dinahican Summer League 2025 is about camaraderie and sportsmanship. It is a season of showcasing the love and passion to sports (e.g. basketball or volleyball).

Always remember that in every game, it is not about winning โ€“ itโ€™s about learning and growing.
