This was me, 11 years ago.
Limang beses akong bumagsak. Ang daming beses kong na-discourage.
I wasn’t the best speaker, I wasn’t the most confident.
Pero tuloy lang. Apply lang ulit. Hanggang sa isang araw, tinanggap din ako. “You’re hired.”
At doon nagsimula lahat.
I didn’t even imagine na someday, I’d be creating a platform talking about call center life.
To everyone who still belittles call center agents — maybe you don’t see it, but we’re the backbone of so many families.
We work while the world sleeps.
We miss birthdays, holidays, and sleep — just to show up and provide.
And yet, people still say “call center lang.”
But let me tell you — this “just” gave me food on the table, bills paid on time, and dreams within reach.
So no, it’s not “just” a job.
It’s our way out.
It’s our way up.
And for a lot of us, it’s where everything started.
Kung ikaw ay nasa BPO — be proud.
Hindi madali ang trabaho natin. Pero may dignidad. May halaga. At may kwento. 😎
