✨ Linggo ng Kabataan 2025 ✨

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Calawisan proudly celebrated Linggo ng Kabataan 2025 with the theme “Local Youth Actions for the SDGs and Beyond” last Monday, August 25, 2025, at Kalawisan Elementary School.

To make the celebration even more exciting, we prepared the Amazing Race 2025 — Bridging Generations through Traditional Games and Digital Innovation. Each zone, from Pansat 1 to Kasag 1, joined the fun with different game stations: Hole Tarp, DrinkAway, LandMine, Mangrove Planting, Pingpong Ball Bounce, Planting Rice, Flip the Bottle, Jackstone, and Sack Race.

Despite the rain, the Calawisan Youths showed unstoppable energy! The games built teamwork, trust, and leadership, while the mangrove planting gave deeper meaning by helping protect our environment. 🌱🌍

Truly, it was a day full of fun, learning, and unforgettable memories. Seeing the smiles of our youth is our greatest motivation to continue serving and empowering Calawisan. 💙

🌟 Linggo ng Kabataan 2025 | Youth Camp ✨

Yesterday was a day to remember — filled with fun, learning, new friendships, and joyful memories together with fellow youths from different barangays.✨

The camp gave us activities that strengthened communication, cooperation, and teamwork. It reminded us of the true essence of being a youth — to thrive in life, to serve with purpose, and to be empowered as future leaders. 💪🌍

A heartfelt thank you to the Lapu-Lapu City SK Federation for giving our Calawisan Youth Advocates and Calawisan Youth the chance to join this amazing experience. Truly, it was an honor to be part of a gathering that unites us as One Lapu-Lapu Youth, shaping us to become the leaders of tomorrow. 🙌🔥

🔥 Lapu-Lapu City Youth Camp 2025 🔥

Linggo ng Kabataan Celebration
In cooperation with the Lapu-Lapu City SK Federation

Day 1 was filled with learnings, fun, teamwork, and adventure! 💪✨

From Orientation down to the Firefighting Training, it was truly a day of knowledge, camaraderie, and discovering the importance of helping our fellow citizens in times of need.

This experience prepared our youth to be responsible, disciplined, and always ready to face disasters — especially fire emergencies. 🚒🔥

A big thank you to the BFP for guiding and training us to be more prepared and for shaping us into responsible youth leaders of tomorrow. 🙌👩‍🚒

– Pagtapok ug paghisgot sa mga importanteng kalihokan karon ug sa umaabot.

🎯 Game Mechanics:

1. Participants must be bona fide residents of Barangay Calawisan.
2. Age requirement: 15–25 years old.
3. Form a team from your designated Zone or Subdivision with 5 members (either 2 girls & 3 boys or vice versa).
4. The team that submits their final list first will be declared as the official participants of the race.

📍 Submission: Any SK Councilor or CYA Officer
Deadline: August 13, 2025

Note:Please indicate your Team Name with the corresponding Zone.
