Q: Why rush life when God moves with purpose?

A: Like this wheel, every turn has meaning. I just trust the One who designed the ride. 🎡✨

𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿

Lord,
on this first Sunday of the year, we come to You.

For the weary, give rest.
For the hopeful, give courage.
For those who continue to trust, give strength.

As 2026 begins,
teach us to walk by faith, lean on Your grace, and trust You still and always.

We place this year in Your hands.
Amen. 🙏✨

Lord God, thank You for walking with me through the year that has passed.

You saw every high and every low, every prayer whispered in faith and every tear cried in silence. I am grateful for the joy and for the pain. I trust that You are still working, even when I could not see it.

I place the past year into Your hands, the lessons I learned, the mistakes I regret, and the healing that is still unfinished.

Free my heart from what no longer belongs in the new season. Restore what was broken, and help me let go of what You never meant for me to carry forward.

As this new year begins, I surrender my life to You once again. I don’t ask for ease or certainty but only for Your presence.

Give me faith when the road feels unclear, peace when waiting is hard, and strength to keep trusting You one day at a time.

Guide my steps, guard my heart, and align my desires with Your will. Teach me to rest in Your grace, to walk in obedience, and to believe that You are already holding everything that lies ahead.

I step into this new year with hope, not because I know what will happen, but because I know You will be with me through it all.

Amen. 🙏✨

Ending the year tired doesn’t mean you failed.
Not every prayer was answered, but you’re still here.

The small wins, the quiet courage, the days you kept going still matter. ✨

You did your best with what you had, and that is enough for 2025. 🌿

Gentler days are coming in 2026! Healing may take time, but God does not leave. 🙏

Some of us are ending this year tired, still hurting, still figuring things out. Not every story wrapped up neatly. Not every prayer was answered yet.

But if you’re here - still standing, still breathing, still trying - that matters more than you think.

The small wins, the quiet courage, the days you chose to keep going even when life felt heavy… they all count.

You did your best with what you had. And that is enough for this season.

Gentler days are coming. Healing doesn’t rush—but God doesn’t leave.

If this speaks to where you are right now, I wrote a longer reflection for hearts ending the year weary but hopeful.

The birth of Christ is a promise that even when a mother’s strength feels small, the Light of the world shines with her. She may be the light of her home, but she is never alone.

The true Light has come, and He stays, walking with her through every exhaustion, every tear, and every quiet act of love. (John 1:9)
