One of the “Dark Horse” and inaabangan sa Miss Universe Philippines, Miss Zamboanga City - KC De Fiesta decided to withdraw from the National Pageant due to personal reasons.☹️
Here’s the official statement from the MUPh-ZC org.

Good day.
The Miss Universe Philippines Zamboanga City Organization regrets to inform everyone that our very own Miss Universe Philippines Zamboanga City has decided to withdraw from the national pageant. This is purely her personal decision, and we must respect that.
The organization’s top priority now is to support her in strengthening the qualities that will equip her to face life’s challenges with resilience, adapt to changes, and cope with adversity.
It is important to highlight that mental health is incredibly vital, as it directly affects how we think, feel, and act. It influences our ability to overcome challenges, build relationships, and reach our full potential.
With regard to sponsorship, the City Government of Zamboanga has fully supported us in every way. A heartfelt thank you to our beloved city mayor for the unwavering support.
We also extend our deepest gratitude for all the love and encouragement we’ve received from everyone. Rest assured, the Organization and Miss KC de Fiesta maintain a good relationship, and together, we move forward from this.
We will be back bolder, wiser and stronger next year.
