Fifteen years ago, I could only eat at Jollibee on my birthday or when I was sick.

But now, I can order from Jollibee anytime I want.

I never had the privilege of growing up in a comfortable life.

Now, at 27, a huge part of me is still that 9-year-old kid who gets excited whenever I see the Jollibee logo.

I know many of us are healing our inner child. We deserve everything we have right now.

It’s still a long way to go. But we’ve come a long way.
