There was a time when computer shops were everywhere.

Kids would spend hours in front of PCs, partying up with complete strangers, chasing levels, slaying Porings, hunting MVPs and getting lost in worlds that somehow felt more exciting than real life.

And for a lot of us geeks, awkward as we were in real life, it became an escape.

We didn’t know who these people really were. Sometimes we didn’t even know what they looked like.

We just knew them by their character names.

Years passed.

The computer shops got smaller. Life got bigger. We got jobs, responsibilities, bills and our own real-life quests to deal with.

But somehow, some of those people we met behind those screens stayed.

From slaying Porings…
to surviving adulthood.

From Prontera to real life.

We grew old.

We just never really grew up.
