𝗛𝗒𝗑𝗒π—₯π—œπ—‘π—š π—§π—›π—˜ π—₯π—˜π—§π—¨π—₯𝗑. Eighty-one years ago marked one of the most defining moments in Philippine history. After years of hardship during World War II, the Leyte Landings of 1944 fulfilled General Douglas MacArthur’s promise to return to the Philippines, signaling the beginning of the nation’s liberation.

Today, we remember not only the general’s vow but also the courage and sacrifice behind it. More than a story of war, it stands as a testament to hope, resilience, and perseverance in the face of adversity. Let us honor those who came before us by building a future worthy of their legacy, for every heartbeat of the present echoes the valor of the past.

The Thanksgiving Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Goldie Kenn A. As October begins, the faithful are reminded to value life’s gifts and embrace each day with a grateful heart.
