After beating Sri Lanka, 11–1, and Hong Kong–China, 3–2, the Philippines has secured two straight victories in Group B of the XII Asian Baseball Championship organized by the Baseball Federation of Asia (BFA).

With these wins, the team advances to the Super Round, where they will face host nation Taiwan and powerhouse South Korea. Before moving forward, however, the Philippines will first battle Japan tomorrow in their final Group B matchup.
