As we open the celebration of the 125th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, we are reminded that being a public servant is more than a profession it is a calling to serve with integrity, excellence, and empathy. This celebration is not only a commemoration of our history but also a renewal of our dedication to place the welfare of our people at the very heart of our work.

Public service, much like true sportsmanship, is not about recognition but about fairness, respect, and teamwork. It is about lifting each other up, working with humility and unity, and ensuring that in every endeavor no one is left behind.

At the same time, let us also strengthen our resolve in the fight against illegal drugs. As government employees, we must lead by example not only in our communities but also in our workplaces. By promoting a drug-free workplace, we uphold the values of discipline, responsibility, and integrity, while protecting the health, safety, and productivity of our colleagues. A workplace free from illegal drugs is a workplace that truly serves the people.

May we continue to serve with a heart that sees the silver lining in every challenge a heart that turns trials into opportunities, and service into hope. In this way, we strengthen not only our government institutions but also the very foundation of a dedicated, people-centered community.

On this 125th year of the Philippine Civil Service, let us be inspired to live out the values of Serbisyo Way Pili public service without discrimination, service with purpose, and service with heart.
