Many people don't know this, but if the law allows repudiation, you don't simply say, "I changed my mind."

You use KP Form No. 17.

Simply:
๐Ÿ“ Indicate the title of the case.
โœ… Check the proper groundโ€”Fraud, Violence, or Intimidation.
โœ๏ธ Briefly explain why you're repudiating the agreement.
๐Ÿ“„ Sign the form and submit it to the barangay.

Knowing the proper procedure can protect your rights.

Don't lose hope just yet.

What if you signed because you were deceived?
What if you were threatened?
What if there was no genuine meeting of minds?

The law recognizes that not every signature reflects true consent.

If the circumstances allowed by law are present, you may repudiate the barangay agreement within ten (10) days from the date you signed it.

Remember the acronym FVI:
