IMEC–GigaMare ETO Program Graduation, Batch 1 I MARINO PH

August 15, 2025 – The International Maritime Employers’ Council (IMEC) and GigaMare Inc. held the graduation ceremony of Batch 1 of the Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) Program, with 12 cadets successfully completing their training and preparing to begin their maritime careers.

The ceremony featured messages from Rob Gale, IMEC Head of Training, Larissa Taylor, IMEC Deputy Head of Training, Jari Ullakonoja, President/CEO of GigaMare Inc., and Paul-Andrei V. Diez, GigaMare Training Head. They congratulated the graduates on their achievement, recognized their dedication, and encouraged them as they embark on their professional journeys at sea.

Certificates and gifts were presented to the graduates, and Engr. Catherine A. Alferez, the top cadet of the batch, delivered a message of gratitude on behalf of her classmates.

PRES. MARCOS LEADS PMMA CLASS OF 2025 GRADUATION | MARINO PH

ZAMBALES – President Bongbong Marcos on Friday, August 15, led the graduation rites of the Philippine Merchant Marine Academy (PMMA) “Kadaligtan” Class of 2025, honoring the 252 cadets who successfully completed their maritime education and training.

In his keynote address, President Marcos announced the upcoming implementation of the National Merchant Marine Aptitude Test (NaMMAT), a standardized examination designed to measure the readiness of aspiring students to take maritime courses in college.

“Binubuo na rin natin ang ladderized maritime education and training program para tuloy-tuloy naman ang pag-angat mula sa non-degree hanggang sa degree program,” the President said, underscoring his administration’s commitment to strengthening the country’s maritime workforce.

The event, held at the PMMA campus in Zambales, gathered cadets, their families, maritime officials, and industry leaders, marking another milestone in the nation’s efforts to develop world-class Filipino seafarers.

A special letter to Israel

Dear Israeli people/goverment, we need your help for our Former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s situation.

But before that , allow me to bring back the past…

First: the Philippines, under President Manuel L. Quezon, allowed more than a thousand Jews to escape the N***s in the 1930s, granting them visas and opening places for them to settle. It was when all doors all over the world were closed for them, except the Philippines.

Secondly: In 1947, under President Manuel Roxas, the Philippine vote became the tie-breaking voice in the UN to establish the State of Israel.

This time around, we DESPERATELY need your help.

Our former President, your friend, Rodrigo Roa Duterte while arriving from Hongkong to Manila, was met by Soldiers and was immediately brought to another Plane on the same day to bring him to The Hague in ICC facility.

We believe there was an injustice done on the process of his arrest.

It is campaign season in the Philippines. The election is on May 12.

We believe it’s politically motivated, being the most popular President we ever had.

His daughter our Vice President, Sara Duterte, has always been the number one choice in surveys for the next Presidential election 2028.

We believe they want to destroy them and defeat them using the ICC as a weapon.

ICC should never allow themselves to be used by ambitious Politicians in this way.

Our Nation is a Sovereign state. We are capable of handling matters such as these because we have a fully functional legal system. Our Supreme Court is not crippled. There is no civil war happening. Everything about the Law is still functioning here.

We have read that the renowned British-Israeli international lawyer Nicholas Kaufman has been appointed as the lead counsel for former Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte.

It is of great happiness that he is an Israeli.

This time around, the Filipinos are the ones that need a big help from an Israeli.

Please help Lawyer Kaufman in anyway possible to bring our beloved President Duterte back home.

We are not ashamed to come to you and ask for your help, knowing that there was a time we gave it to you when you badly needed it.
