The SSLG President, Ms. Chloe Jimeno Martinez, also gave her message, setting the tone of gratitude and appreciation.
"Our teachers are indeed a hero of our academic journeyโthey may not have the superpowers of superman but their hearts are the strongest and bravest of all. Their dedication, support, and perseverance to nurture our learnings are truly admirable and beyond to compare.โ Ms. Chloe expressed.
The kick off program became more fun and meaningful as teachers actively engaged in exciting games. BSHS-SA Glee Club also gave their intermission number, while selected student volunteers from different strands of the SSLG shared their appreciation messages to the teachers.
The program concluded with closing remarks from Dr. Antonio Sanson, Jr., Faculty Club Vice President.
On behalf of the BSHS-SA Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all teachers for your tireless efforts, love and support through guiding us in the process of education. We couldn't have learned so many thingsโfrom what an atom is, to how to solve for x; without your teachings. ๐ฅบ But more than that, you also taught us the most valuable thing to learn; character and morals. As many teachers would often say, "character over intelligence". ๐ซก๐
