SUMMARY OF THE STORY:
The story follows Zhao Xiaoqing, a kind and determined young woman who runs an embroidery shop. One day, she accidentally awakens three fox spirits trapped inside an ancient screen painting. These fox spirits—Yu Yan (Luo Yunxi), Qing Feng, and Hu Fei—had been sealed inside for a hundred years due to a past tragedy.
As the three fox spirits integrate into the human world, Yu Yan, the white fox spirit, forms a deep bond with Zhao Xiaoqing. Despite his cold and reserved nature, he slowly opens up and develops feelings for her. However, their love faces obstacles due to the mystical forces and curses binding the fox spirits to their fate.
Throughout the story, secrets about the past betrayal, the reason behind their imprisonment, and the tragic fate of the fox spirits are revealed. As Zhao Xiaoqing fights to help Yu Yan and his brothers gain their freedom, she also discovers her own connection to their past lives.
The drama blends romance, fantasy, and traditional Chinese folklore, with Luo Yunxi’s portrayal of Yu Yan being praised for his graceful and emotional performance.
