Mohammad Ahmad Zafar, a dedicated student of BSCS 6th Department of Computer Science at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, and currently serving as the President of the IUB Social Welfare Society, has earned the remarkable opportunity to represent his university on a global stage at the prestigious Best Diplomats Conference in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from 9th to 12th May 2025.
This educational simulation of the United Nations brings together youth leaders from across the world to engage in vital discussions on global issues and to gain a deeper understanding of how the United Nations operates.
As part of the Best Diplomats organization, this conference provides a platform for young minds to exchange innovative ideas, collaborate on solving challenges, and foster leadership skills.
His selection for this distinguished event is a testament to his leadership, vision, and dedication to promoting positive change in our community. Through his role as President of the Social Welfare Society, he has already demonstrated his ability to make a difference locally.
By participating in this international conference, Ahmad aims to not only represent his university but also make Islamia University of Bahawalpur more globally recognized as a hub of leadership and social responsibility.
This opportunity will allow him to enhance his diplomatic and leadership skills, while contributing to the exchange of global solutions, and continuing to bring IUB to the forefront of international discussions on social welfare, development, and peace-building.

اوچ شریف شہر کی تاریخی اہمیت کی بنیاد یہاں کے تین مشہور مقبرہ جات ہیں جو اپنی بوسیدگی اور خستہ حالی کے باعث کسی وقت بھی زمین بوس ہو سکتے ہیں۔ ان میں پہلا آدھ ادھورا مقبرہ حضرت بی بی جیوندی کا ہے جو حضرت مخدوم جہانیاں جہاں گشت کی پوتی اور ایک درویش خاتون تھیں۔ یہ مقبرہ پندرہویں صدی کے آخری عشرے میں خراسان کے حکمران محمد دلشاد نے بنوایا تھا۔ دوسرا مقبرہ حضرت مخدوم جہانیاں جہاں گشت کے استاد حضرت بہاؤالحلیم کا جب کہ تیسرا مقبرہ ان مقابر کے معمار استاد نوریا کا ہے جن کی خوب صورت کاریگری نے عہد گم گشتہ میں ان مقبروں کو شان وشوکت بخشی۔ یہ تینوں نادر و نایاب مقبرے آج اپنے در و دیوار پہ حسرت کی نظر کو ترستے ہیں۔ مقبرہ بی بی جیوندی کا آدھا حصہ سیلاب کی نذر ہو گیا جبکہ باقی آدھے حصے کو محکمہ آثار قدیمہ کی جانب سے آہنی پائپوں کی سپورٹ دے کر حالات کے رحم و کرم پر چھوڑ دیا گیا ہے۔

1998ء میں اقوام متحدہ کے ذیلی ادارے یونیسکو کے ورلڈ ہیریٹیج سائٹ نے اوچ کے چار مقامات کو اپنی واچ لسٹ میں شامل کیا جبکہ فن تعمیر کے بے بدل شاہکار مقبرہ بی بی جیوندی کی وجہ سے امریکن ایکسپریس کمپنی نے اوچ شریف کو اولڈ بگ سٹی کا خطاب دیا۔ ملتانی فن تعمیر کا شاہکار یہ مقبرہ 2000ء میں دنیا بھر کی سو قدیم تاریخی عمارات کی فہرست میں پہلے نمبر پر تھا۔ امریکی قونصلیٹ برائن ڈی ہنٹ نے 2006ء میں جبکہ پیٹرسن نے 2008ء میں اس شہر کا دورہ کیا اور اس کے عظیم تاریخی ورثے کو محفوظ کرنے کے لئے پچاس پچاس ہزار ڈالر عطیہ بھی کیا جس کا عشر عشیر بھی اوچ کے آثار قدیمہ پر لگا ہوتا تو آج ان کی یہ حالت نہ ہوتی.....

ہم پریذیڈنٹ بینک آف پنجاب کا شکریہ ادا کرتے ہیں جن کی خصوصی کاوشوں سے انٹرنیشنل چولستان ڈیزرٹ ریلی کے موقع پر پہلی بارصحراچولستان میں اے ٹی ایم مشین نصب کردی ہے۔ اے ٹی ایم مشین کا باقاعدہ آغاز کر دیا گیا ہے۔ جس کا مقصد ریلی پر آئے سیاحوں اورمقامی لوگوں کو سہولت فراہم کرنا ھے۔
