Big respect to Zara Sultana for taking a bold and principled stand.

Since Keir Starmer took over, Labour has drifted so far to the right that it no longer represents the true values of the left — working people, justice, equality, and grassroots voices.

This new political movement with Jeremy Corbyn is long overdue. There’s a real gap in British politics right now, and this is a hopeful step for all of us who’ve been politically homeless under the current Labour leadership.

The left is rising again — and it’s time to be part of something that actually speaks for the people.

Ramadan Kareem to everyone who started fasting yesterday and today.

May Allah guide us towards unity. The moon was sighted in different parts of the UK last night, and its size clearly indicates that the 1st of Ramadan is on 1st of March.

This means some may unintentionally fast on Eid day, which is clearly prohibited in Islam.

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:
"No fasting is permissible on the two days of Eid: Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha."
(Sahih al-Bukhari 1990, Sahih Muslim 1137)

May Allah accept our fasts and grant us guidance.
