بروسیلوسس ایک بیکٹیریل انفیکشن ہے جو Brucella نامی جراثیم کی وجہ سے ہوتا ہے۔ یہ بیماری زیادہ تر جانوروں سے انسانوں میں منتقل ہوتی ہے۔
وجوہات اور پھیلاؤ
یہ بیماری انسانوں میں درج ذیل طریقوں سے منتقل ہوتی ہے:
غیر ابلا ہوا (Unpasteurized) دودھ یا دودھ سے بنی اشیاء استعمال کرنے سے
متاثرہ جانوروں (گائے، بکری، بھیڑ، اونٹ) سے براہِ راست رابطہ
آلودہ ہوا کے ذریعے (ذبح خانے، لیبارٹریز)
عام اقسام:
Brucella melitensis (سب سے عام اور زیادہ شدید)
Brucella abortus
Brucella suis
Brucella canis
علامات
علامات اچانک یا آہستہ آہستہ ظاہر ہو سکتی ہیں:
بخار (اکثر چڑھتا اترتا رہتا ہے)
زیادہ پسینہ آنا، خاص طور پر رات کو
تھکن اور کمزوری
جسم اور جوڑوں میں درد
سر درد
بھوک میں کمی، وزن کم ہونا
جگر یا تلی کا بڑھ جانا (کچھ مریضوں میں)
ممکنہ پیچیدگیاں:
جوڑوں کی سوزش، ریڑھ کی ہڈی کا درد
مردوں میں خصیوں کی سوزش
دل کے والوز کا انفیکشن (Endocarditis)
اعصابی نظام کا متاثر ہونا (Neurobrucellosis)
تشخیص
خون کا کلچر (سب سے مستند ٹیسٹ)
خون کے ٹیسٹ (جیسے روز بنگل ٹیسٹ، بروسیلا ایگلیوٹینیشن ٹیسٹ)
پی سی آر (اگر دستیاب ہو)
علاج
بروسیلوسس کے علاج کے لیے ایک سے زیادہ اینٹی بایوٹکس کا استعمال ضروری ہے تاکہ بیماری دوبارہ نہ ہو۔
بالغوں میں معیاری علاج
ڈوکسی سائکلین 100 ملی گرام دن میں دو بار 6 ہفتے کے ساتھ
ریفیمپیسن 600–900 ملی گرام دن میں ایک بار 6 ہفتے
متبادل علاج
ڈوکسی سائکلین 6 ہفتے
کے ساتھ
اسٹریپٹومائسن انجیکشن 2–3 ہفتے
یا
جینٹامائسن 7–10 دن
بچوں اور حاملہ خواتین میں
ریفیمپیسن + کو-ٹرائمکسازول (Trimethoprim-Sulfamethoxazole) 6 ہفتے
ڈوکسی سائکلین استعمال نہ کریں
بچاؤ
غیر ابلا دودھ اور دودھ کی اشیاء سے پرہیز کریں
جانوروں کے ساتھ کام کرتے وقت حفاظتی تدابیر اختیار کریں
مویشیوں میں ویکسینیشن اور بیماری پر قابو

Prince Randian, also known as the Living Torso, was a performer in American sideshows in the 1930s. Born in British Guyana in 1871, Randian was discovered by P.T. Barnum in 1889 and toured the United States as a performer. He was known as the "human caterpillar" because he was able to crawl on his belly like a reptile, despite being born without limbs.
Despite his physical limitations, Randian was a highly skilled and talented individual. He was able to shave, write, paint, and roll ci******es unaided, demonstrating his impressive dexterity and fine motor skills. In addition to his physical abilities, Randian was also known for his intelligence and linguistic aptitude. He spoke English, German, French, and Hindi, and was able to converse with audiences in multiple languages.
In addition to his work as a performer, Randian was also reportedly skilled in carpentry and had a good sense of humour. He joked that he would someday build his own house, demonstrating his determination and resilience. Throughout his life, Randian faced many challenges and obstacles due to his physical condition and colour. However, he was able to overcome these challenges and lead a full and productive life. He married and had four children, and lived to the age of 63.
Prince Randian's life was one of inspiration and determination. Despite his physical limitations, he was able to accomplish much and leave a lasting legacy as a performer and skilled individual.
