بچے کی پیدائش کے بعد ڈیلیوری روم سے نکلے ایک گھنٹہ ہوا تھا، ماں کو ابھی ابھی ہوش آیا تھا.
بدن میں طاقت بالکل ختم ہو گئی تھی....
کروٹ لینا تو دور کی بات ہلنے میں بھی بے پناہ دقت ہو رہی تھی.
اس نے بڑی مشکل سے داہنے ہاتھہ کو حرکت دی، کچھہ ٹٹولا، ہاتھہ کو کچھہ محسوس نہیں ہوا
پھر بائیں ہاتھہ کو حرکت دینے کی کوشش کی. کچھہ نہیں ہاتھہ لگا. بے چین ہوگئی.
خیال آیا کہیں نیچے لڑھک کے گر تو نہیں گیا! اوہ خدایا..............
ہمت کرکے بمشکل پلنگ کے نیچے دیکھا.

نیچے بھی نہیں......
گھبراہٹ ہونے لگی. ماتھے پر پسینے کی بوندیں نمایاں ہو گئیں..
دُور کھڑی نرس کو اشارے سے بلایا......ہونٹ ہلے پر کچھہ الفاظ نہیں نکل سکے....

نرس نے ماں کی گھبراہٹ محسوس کر لی. اس کی آنکھیں بھی نم ہوگئیں۔۔۔ آخر وہ بھی ماں تھی، ماں کی تڑپ کو کیسے نہ سمجھہ پاتی.

دوڑ کر انکیوبیٹر روم سے نوزائیدہ کو لاکر ماں کے ہاتھہ میں تھماتے ہوئے کہا
"میں سمجھہ سکتی ہوں بہن !
لو...... جی بھر کے دیکھہ لو۔"
ماں بولی....
"بہت شکریہ لیکن میں موبائل ڈھونڈ رہی تھی..
کدے ہس وی لیا کرو 😂
