Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), visited Multan Garrison to assess the operational preparedness of formations and oversaw the formal induction of the advanced Z-10ME attack helicopters into Pakistan Army Aviation, as per the military’s media wing.
These state-of-the-art helicopters, equipped with precision strike capabilities, modern radar systems, and electronic warfare technology, are set to significantly boost the Army’s capability to counter both aerial and ground threats.
The COAS also attended a live firepower demonstration at the Muzaffargarh Field Firing Ranges, where cutting-edge battlefield strategies and integrated arms operations were showcased. He praised the professionalism, preparedness, and high morale of the troops and reiterated the Army’s unwavering resolve to protect the nation.
Later, in an interactive session with members of academia and civil society, Field Marshal Asim Munir emphasized the importance of national unity, robust civil-military collaboration, and a whole-of-nation approach in countering modern hybrid threats.
