Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilayhi Raji’un
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Sir Ghulam Nabi Raikoti Sahib, a pioneer in the tourism industry and a respected development consultant. He passed away in Islamabad due to a cardiac arrest.

A graduate of King’s College London and the owner of Raikot Sarai near Nanga Parbat, he dedicated over 30 years to promoting sustainable tourism in Gilgit-Baltistan. He was also a board member of the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation.

The deceased is currently being transported from Islamabad to Gilgit for final rites.
May Allah grant him the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous.
A tremendous loss for the community.
