Here are some raw videos from my recent trip to Bagrote Valley, which I visited for the first time. It’s an incredible place for nature lovers, offering stunning landscapes, flowing glaciers, and lush meadows.

Bagrote Valley is just about a 1-hour drive from Gilgit city. From there, it takes around 3 to 4 hours of trekking to reach the beautiful Gargo Meadows. The trek takes you through mesmerizing glaciers, diverse landscapes, and serene surroundings.

Along the way, you’ll witness majestic views of high mountains like Diran Peak, Rakaposhi, Bilchar Dobani, and many others. If you’re into nature, mountain views, and peaceful escapes, Bagrote Valley should definitely be on your list!

Bagrote Valley, located about 17 kilometers northeast of Gilgit city, is one of the hidden gems of Gilgit-Baltistan. Easily accessible by vehicle, the road to the last village, Gasunar, is mostly carpeted, with just 2–3 kilometers of off-road track. The drive takes approximately one hour. From Gasunar, travelers can hire a local guide and begin a breathtaking trek to explore lush alpine meadows, massive glaciers, and towering peaks like Rakaposhi and Diran. Surrounded by natural beauty and rich in culture, Bagrote offers an unforgettable experience for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.
