A 15-Year Journey. A Mission Successfully Completed. 🇵🇰🛰️

After 15 years of service in geostationary orbit, PakSat-1R has successfully completed its mission.

SUPARCO has safely deorbited the satellite into a designated disposal orbit, marking the responsible conclusion of a foundational mission that supported telecommunications, television broadcasting and broadband connectivity across Pakistan and the region.

This milestone is more than the end of a satellite’s operational journey—it reflects Pakistan’s commitment to space safety, responsible space operations and sustainable management of our satellite fleet.

As we close one chapter, another continues. With PakSat MM-1 in service since May 2024, Pakistan is moving forward with stronger and next-generation satellite communication capabilities.

🚀 15 years of service. One mission completed. A future that continues to reach higher.
